Pathetic Freelance job but the money makes it balance but surely, I have to work without break if I want to get the highest fee. I'm on my way to the edge of glory and happiness of having better income.

So many things that hadn't be blogging since December 2010 and many sins happend since I posted 'I lost my phone' :p But I'm here not to make confession I'm not in a Catholic Church, right? Hahaha

What to blog?

I found a freelance undepaid job in Kompas Gramedia, Research Department. Quiet cool at the first and I felt so exhausting among the process. I have admit that working in the field is freaking tiring. That doesn't mean I'm quitting there. I just get the salary, underpaid but doing a clean job is good hahahaha

This occupation may distract me from the drama of life in my family. I'm not going to publish it here but something happens and it'll be terrible for couple days or years later. I think I'm strong, I can handle any obstacles. Wish me luck

Today (oct 15) is my 20th birthday. Oh gosh I can't believe this! I'm not teen anymore. Welcome cruel world! I'm ready (tho not) to face you! Please don't expect birthday cake or more over party! I'm out of money right before my birthday date. That's a classic problem for not-so-damn-rich-guy like me.Well, I still enjoy it, enjoy that the whole family forgot my birthday for sure! I wasn't mad at all. Who needs birthday when you can be happy everyday and eat cakes, candies, chocolates, and any other sweets? :D

A day with crazy guys

June 10th was a great day. First of all, I did my test so easily (I'm not gonna tell much about it). At noon, I was texting my friends Ridho and Opank to meet up. It made me shifted my ass to Depok then, no, not Depok, I was going to Opank's house in Lenteng Agung (Ridho had to go to his campus to finish his final exam). Then I helped him, a lil help, to solve his problem with his lover who has affair with someone elses. He broke up for 3 or 4 times and that was the end I hope, no mercy to people who hurt us! Fortunately, Oshy and Ridho asked me and Opank to go to Margo City. We had fun, a bit, there. As usual, take some photos, great joke and chit chat that made us laugh. That's what I call youth soul teraphy *wink* Ow.... and Oshy had new cutey temporary tattoo!! Shape was me who chose it. I don't accept any complains! :P After long long chat, boredom had come strike us as hunger came strike my tummy since sunset. We decided to go to 'Warung Tenda' near my campus. Eat eat eat! We forced Opank to eat, I know that he still sad of what happend before but life mus go on, dude! We're a man right? Hahaha. Night was going late, decided to go home. Oshy to her dorm, rest of us were going to our houses. I'm not gonna type more story what kind of conversation we had on our way. The conclusion is... we've some fun and I thank to God for the craziness and happiness on that day.

Suikoden V - Walkthrough

Name your Hero and set controller options then select Start Game. After the opening title sequence, you will be escorted to the Sun Palace where your father and mother await. Respond to their comments however you wish. In general, select tactful answers during the first few hours of the game. If you are overly cruel to people, it will be impossible to get one of the endings. During your meeting with the Queen, the group reports on what they witnessed in Lordlake.

LORDLAKE

* Items: Escape Scroll 3, Medicine 5, Sacrificial Jizo

When you take control, use the glowing orb behind Talgeyl to save your game progress. Head south and speak to the man dressed in green near the dilapidated fountain. Afterwards, enter the Clinic to the north. After watching a scene involving a cynical female doctor, leave the Clinic and travel south onto the dock where another scene takes place. Walk across the dry canal to the other side of town.

Once there, continue south to a chest containing ESCAPE SCROLL 3, which is near the fence on the right. The passage to the forest is currently blocked, so travel northwest until you reach the Rovere Mansion. When prompted, select “Let’s go in.”

Pass through the first room in the mansion to a second one where you’ll find a chest containing MEDICINE 5. After receiving the item, go through the door on the southwest wall to trigger a scene outside. When you regain control, head west along the thin pier until you reach a chest containing a SACRIFICIAL JIZO. Afterwards, go through the mansion to get back to town. Once there, cross the footbridge then travel north, veering west when you can. Walk down the long pier until a scene occurs between Talgeyl and Goesch. When Lyon says she’ll go find the child alone, select, “I can’t let you do that” then head south, back to the Withered Forest entrance. Now that it’s open, go inside.

WITHERED FOREST

* Items: Medicine 5, Mega Medicine 3

Take advantage of random encounters in this area to gain experience (if you get tired of selecting individual commands, choose ‘Auto’ from the menu). Follow the dirt path south until you reach a save point. After using it, continue south and at the first intersection, head west. At the next intersection, head southeast and, at the third one (this one has a sign), head south. Go west when you can to find a chest containing MEDICINE 5. Backtrack to the sign and head east.

At the first opportunity, head south then veer east to a chest containing MEGA MEDICINE 3. Head north to the previous intersection and travel east until a scene takes over. When given a dialogue option, choose, “We've got to save him!”

BOSS >> ULSE x 3
Reward: Medicine 1, Violence Piece, Boost Piece

Strategy: Have your Hero and Lyon use their Co-Op attack “Sworn Protector” on one of the Ulse, while Georg and Sialeeds focus on a different one. If you’re lucky, Georg will attack twice on the first round and the battle will end before the enemies get a turn. If not, use the same strategy during additional rounds until all three enemies perish.

You’ll get your first Rune Pieces after this battle. Once you collect 4 pieces of the same type, have a rune master assemble an orb for you. Watch the scene that follows, ending back in the palace.

SUN PALACE

* Items: Dress, Refined Clothes, Scarf, Mega Medicine 3

Answer questions however you wish, since you need to go find your sister, Lymsleia, regardless. After Georg and Sialeeds leave the party, start exploring the palace. From the Audience Chamber, head south and go through the door on the western wall near the stairs. Follow the hallway north to a staircase. Go up to the 2nd floor and enter the third room on the left. Talk to the maids inside to learn that your sister has gone off to look for you. Leave the room and head east until you reach a door on the right. Enter.

From the balcony overlooking the Great Hall, head south and ascend the spiral staircase. Speak to the rune keepers inside the Sealed Room, asking all three questions when prompted. Afterwards, go downstairs and continue east. Enter the door on the far right and head south until you reach your bedroom. Speak to the maid inside then return to the hallway. Head east and enter the storage room at the end of the hall. After acquiring a DRESS and REFINED CLOTHES from the two chests inside, backtrack towards your room then head north. Use the staircase at the end to get down to the 1st floor.

Once there, head south until a scene takes over. After Kyle joins the party, enter the room on the far right to witness a scene involving the Queen’s Knights and King Ferid (if a guard prevents you from entering the room, go back and visit Lymsleia’s Room, the Hero’s Room, and the Sealed Room). Once the scene ends, speak to the Knights then attempt to leave. After Lym and Miakis join your party, exit the room to trigger a scene with Sialeeds. When it ends, leave the Sun Palace by heading west through the door then going south through the Great Hall. Use the save point outside if you like; otherwise continue south towards Sol-Falena.

At the first opportunity, head east across a bridge and look between the water canals for a chest with a SCARF. Go back upstairs and continue south until you can veer east again. Circle underneath the bridge then go to the southwestern corner to find a chest with MEGA MEDICINE 3. Backtrack to the upper walkway and follow the western path to the Senate Hall. Watch a scene then enter.

When you regain control, go upstairs and speak to the person blocking the door in the northwest corner. While waiting for her to fetch the list of applicants, talk to everyone inside the building. There are 6 people on the top level, 2 in the central room, and at least 4 on the lower level. After speaking with all of them, enter the central room from the bottom floor and watch a scene introducing Euram and Salum Barows.

When you regain control, speak with the last 4 people in the Senate then return to the woman guarding the door in the upper northwest corner. If you’ve spoken with everyone, she will let you inside. Watch a scene then exit the Senate Hall. Move forward until a scene takes over. Tell Kyle you’ll go with him into town. After Miakis, Sialeeds, and Lym leave the party, head south until you reach Sol-Falena.

SOL-FALENA

* Items: Medicine 5, Mega Medicine 3, Bandana

Use the save point on the left then go downstairs. On the lower west side of town, search behind some columns near the water for a chest containing MEDICINE 5 then cross the southwestern bridge. There’s an Item shop on the left and a chest on a platform to the right. Open it to receive MEGA MEDICINE 3. You’ll find the Tavern and an Armor shop slightly south of here. Continue all the way west to find the Rune shop Kyle mentioned. Enter to initiate a scene. When it ends, leave the shop.

Back outside, choose to follow Kyle and you’ll be given the option of fighting 6 Thugs. Do so if you like, as they are very easy to defeat. Afterwards, explore the east side of town. If you want to strengthen skills, visit the Training Hall and speak to the combat trainer downstairs or magic trainer upstairs. Further east, you’ll find an Appraiser and a chest containing a BANDANA. Towards the northeast, you’ll find a Trader and towards the northwest, a Blacksmith who can sharpen weapons up to level 3. When you’re finished exploring, head back to the Sun Palace.

SUN PALACE

Watch a scene between Ferid and Arshat, as well as one involving Lyon. After Georg, Sialeeds, and Lyon join the party, approach Ferid near the palace exit. When the scene ends, leave the palace and head directly south until you reach the end of the pier. Approach the ship docked below to trigger a scene with Kyle. Afterwards, board the ship.

ON THE SEA

Watch a cutscene, during which a large white lizard jumps onto the deck and confronts the group.

BOSS >> ZADOM
Reward: Medicine 1, Fire Sealing Piece, Breath of Ice S1

Strategy: Have the Hero and Lyon use Sworn Protector before the boss casts a breath attack that prevents Co-Op choices. Georg and Sialeeds should use normal attacks. The Zadom also uses an area attack that causes about 20 damage to each party member, so if anyone’s health dips below 30, have Sialeeds use Healing Wind and/or items to keep everyone alive.

Afterwards, watch a scene during which you’ll be introduced to Gizel. Eventually, the ship arrives in Stormfist.

STORMFIST ARENA

* Items: Old Book 7, Double Arm Tactic

When you gain control, head south until another scene occurs. Afterwards, enter the Arena, which is a real pain to navigate through. Start by heading west until you trigger a scene showing two Dragon Cavalry riders practicing. Choose to meet them. Afterwards, re-enter the Arena and move counter-clockwise through the circular hallway until you can go south into the stands. Watch a couple of scenes involving gladiators. Afterwards, leave the stands.

Go downstairs then head south through the arena until you reach a staircase on the left. Ascend then move forward to trigger a scene. When it ends, enter the Hero’s guestroom on the right if you want to use a save point or just go back downstairs. Once there, head north, veering west when you can. Back inside the arena, go north and enter the Infirmary on the right. Move south through the room until Gizel stops you. Choose to tour the arena’s basement level when prompted.

Walk east along the prison cells to initiate a couple of dialogue scenes. When they finish, go back through the Infirmary and out to the main hall. Exit the Arena by using the big wooden door on the northwestern wall. Once outside, open the chest behind a tree in the northern corner to acquire OLD BOOK 7. Now, head south and look for a chest that’s partially concealed by a wall to obtain DOUBLE ARM TACTIC, an item that allows you to change your party’s formation. After getting the treasures, go back inside the Arena and head south until Gizel ends the tour. When given a choice, opt to explore the town.

STORMFIST

* Items: Medicine 5, Bandage, Mega Medicine 3, Leather Hat, Bracelet

Watch a scene involving a girl and her trained leopard then speak to her. Next, speak to the redheaded man who is standing nearby. Afterwards, head west. Visit the Magic Trainer if you want to or just enter the Inn next door to witness a brief scene involving the girl who works there. From the Inn, head west then go south down the next street to find a chest partially concealed by trees that contains MEDICINE 5. Backtrack towards the Inn and head east past the fountain. Move in between the buildings to initiate a scene with Shoon. After he joins the party, watch a scene then head south to find a chest containing a BANDAGE. Go around to the street further east to find a Combat Trainer and a chest containing MEGA MEDICINE 3 then backtrack to the fountain. Head south into the “New Part of Town.”

After crossing the bridge, head east to find an Armor vendor. The first road south leads to Appraisal and Item shops if you feel like visiting them; otherwise head west to the next street. At the southern end, open a chest containing a LEATHER HAT then make your way further west, where you’ll find a Blacksmith that can upgrade weapons to level 3. Continue veering west until you reach the next block. At the southern end, you’ll find a chest containing a BRACELET. There’s a Rune shop on the next street and a save point in the southwestern corner. When ready, go back to the ‘old’ part of town.

Enter the Inn and watch a scene. When given the option, choose, “We should check it out.” After Shoon leaves the party, head north to the front of the Arena to meet up with Sialeeds. When you regain control, check out the stalls to see what the local vendors are selling then return to the Inn. Enter the guestroom upstairs and tell Shoon you’re ready to start the mission. Once he rejoins, the party will be deposited inside the city’s sewers.

UNDERGROUND PASSAGE / WESTERN WOODS

* Items: Antitoxin 3, Sacrificial Jizo, Leather Armor

Save your game then move forward to trigger a scene. When it ends, step on the square floor tile to your left to unlock a gate. Go through and grab ANTITOXIN 3 from the chest on the other side then head north. Veer east when you can. After Georg stops the group, watch a scene introducing Egbert then head north. Veer west when you can then step on another floor tile slightly north to unlock a gate. Head east then north to reach the gate you just unlocked. Grab a SACRIFICIAL JIZO from the chest up ahead then backtrack to the western path.

Keep moving west until you reach a chest containing LEATHER ARMOR. Backtrack east to the previous intersection then go south. Turn west when you can. Upon reaching the second save point, head south then veer west to another floor tile. Step on it to unlock the last gate. Go back to the save point and follow the newly opened path west until a scene takes over.

When you regain control, go to the western corner of the basement. When given a choice, opt to go after the 2 men that ran, as Zegai will suggest that anyways. Continue west along the winding pathway until you reach a ladder leading up to the Western Woods. Press X to climb up then move north towards the men assembled on the path. After a scene, you’ll engage the Suspicious Men in battle. Though this is not really a boss fight, the 5 men are a bit more difficult than previous enemies you’ve faced. Heal as necessary and use Co-Op attacks to end the conflict.

STORMFIST ARENA

Watch a scene with Gizel then speak to those in the prison cell before leaving. After a few more scenes, the Sacred Games finally begin and you’ll be forced to duel Shoon. Tell Lyon you “don’t have a clue” if you want to hear tips on how to win duels. Basically, duels are a variation of Rock-Paper-Scissors using the commands Guard-Attack-Special. Guard is weak versus Attack, but strong against Special. Attack is weak versus Special, but strong against Guard. Special is strong versus Attack but weak against Guard. Your opponent’s dialogue will offer clues as to what they plan to do next. If his tone is cautious, he’ll likely Guard. If his tone is fierce, he’ll likely use a Special. Enter the door on the left to begin the match.

DUEL >> SHOON

Winning or losing this duel does not affect the outcome of the game so just do your best. Afterwards, watch a scene then exit the Infirmary and head south through two screens. On the third screen, continue south until you can go west to get upstairs. On top, head north into the Royal Box seats. Watch the scene that occurs as you enter. Speak with everyone there if you wish or just sit down in the chair next to Lym.

After watching a few more scenes, you’ll be in the hallway near the exit to Stormfist. Attempt to leave the Arena to trigger a scene showing the doctor, Murad, making a fuss on the north end of the hall. When it ends, use the southern door to get into town.

STORMFIST

After meeting a clueless woman named Nikea, head south towards the New Town gate to witness a scene involving a dwarven blacksmith. Afterwards, head west down the street past the Inn to find Belcoot surrounded by 5 Thugs. Choose to help him. Like the Suspicious Men, the Thugs are stronger than normal enemies so make sure to keep your health up while fighting them.

After defeating them, Belcoot joins the party. Go back to the Inn to trigger a scene with Marina, the girl you met earlier. Take her up on the offer to eat then enter the Inn. Watch a scene then go downstairs and speak to the Inn’s proprietors. Exit for a cutscene as you head back to the Arena.

Watch the semi-final rounds and when prompted, choose to check on Belcoot. Leave the guestroom and return to the Inn to learn that Marina has been kidnapped. After Belcoot rejoins the party, leave the Inn and travel south through New Town until you get to the gate in the southeast corner. Once the guard lets you pass, exit Stormfist.

WORLD MAP

Since this is your first time on the World Map, you may want to spend some time fighting before entering the Western Woods, which is represented by the cluster of trees next to Stormfist. You may encounter a Wild Boar, one of several mini-bosses in Suikoden V that offer greater challenges as well as greater rewards. This walkthrough will not attempt to list each mini-boss you may encounter but you’ll know you’ve found one when you hear different music at the beginning of battle.

WESTERN WOODS

* Items: Goose Tactic, Mega Medicine 3

Save your game at the entrance then follow the northeastern trail that Sialeeds pointed out. Press against the eastern side of the trail until you find a thin opening on the right. Look for a chest containing the GOOSE TACTIC then return to the main path. Continue north, past an intersection, to find a chest holding MEGA MEDICINE 3. Go back to the intersection and follow the western fork until you reach the back of the hut.

Watch a scene, during which you’ll be forced to fight the 5 Thugs again. With Belcoot and Georg in your party, the fight will be over in a matter of seconds. Back outside, follow the southern path down to the save point. Use it then exit the Woods.

STORMFIST / ARENA

When you gain control, exit the guestroom to trigger a scene with Marina. Talk to Georg downstairs then re-enter the guestroom and approach the bed to rest. In the morning, go downstairs and watch a scene. When it ends, leave the Inn and return to the Arena. After Belcoot parts company with you, go upstairs to the Royal Box to watch the final match.

When prompted, choose to stop the match. Afterwards, visit the Infirmary to trigger a scene. When it ends, approach the basement stairs and Lyon will join you. Go down to hear a message from Ferid then enter the first cell. When given an option, choose to “let mother know”. Go upstairs and exit the Infirmary.

Head south until you reach the stairs leading up to the Royal Chambers. Speak to the Knights and Princess in their rooms upstairs for some interesting dialogue or just enter the Queen’s room on the left. In the morning, re-enter the Queen’s room and talk to Ferid who suggests saying goodbye to the townsfolk you met earlier. Talk to Dr. Murad in the Infirmary and Shoon in the basement then leave the Arena.

Back in town, talk to the girl with the trained leopard to learn that her name is Norma. Keep talking to her until she mentions that she’s looking for a wizard (this is important for later). Talk to Gavaya, who is standing nearby, then enter the Inn and speak with Marina and Belcoot upstairs. Talk to Egbert on the east end of town if you like; otherwise, go back to the Arena and tell Ferid you’re ready to leave. Watch the scenes that follow.

SUN PALACE / SOL-FALENA

Upon waking the next morning, head north to trigger a conversation with Sialeeds. After she joins your group, go downstairs. En route to the Audience Chamber, you’ll bump into Georg. Once he joins, enter the door on the left and go up to the Audience Chamber. Inside, the group learns that they’ll be escorting Lym to East Palace. When you regain control, approach Kyle at the Sun Palace exit for a scene then head into town.

Before leaving Sol-Falena, pay a visit to the Rune shop to find Jeane, the sexy rune master that Kyle wanted you to meet earlier. After speaking with her, visit the Blacksmith who can now sharpen weapons up to level 5. Also, buy salt from the Trading Post, as you will need it to recruit a particular character later on. When ready, exit Sol-Falena by heading southeast on walkway past the Appraiser's shop.

Back on the World Map, you’ll find the East Palace logically east of Sol-Falena. Enter when ready.

EAST PALACE

* Items: Sunbeam Piece, Arrowhead Tactic, Glass Slippers, Cape, Cheesecake, Sleep Orb

Use the save point up ahead then speak to the guard to learn that someone is waiting for you in the palace’s rune room. Before going there, explore the area. Head east past the officials to find a chest containing a SUNBEAM PIECE nestled within the trees. Enter the house on the upper west side to find a chest containing the ARROWHEAD TACTIC. You’ll find another chest behind the building northwest of here (past the archway) that contains GLASS SLIPPERS. Continue east around the building to find a fourth chest, which holds a CAPE. Speak to the man below this chest to acquire CHEESECAKE. Lastly, follow the thin walkway next to the man east to find a SLEEP ORB hidden behind a tree near the water’s edge.

After collecting the treasures, enter the main building and walk straight through to initiate a few scenes. Afterwards, leave East Palace and return to the World Map.

WORLD MAP

Your next destination is Lunas, which is directly north of East Palace, but feel free to do some exploring first. Raftleet is southeast. Entering now triggers a dialogue scene but nothing more. The Revolving Bridge is further east, though there is nothing to do there at this point, other than talking to the guards. When you’re ready to advance the story, head north and cross the small bridge into Lunas.

LUNAS

* Items: Jewel Necklace, Defense Ring, Juice, Old Book 5, Water Orb, Magical Piece

Upon entering, watch a scene introducing Isato. Afterwards, cross the bridge then head southeast. Open two chests in the corner to acquire a JEWEL NECKLACE and DEFENSE RING then enter the Oracle’s Conclave. After a scene, take Lady Haswar’s advice to look around while Lym is doing her thing.

South of the Conclave, you’ll find a series of doorways along the lower path. Speak to the man inside the first room to acquire JUICE and look for a chest in the second room that contains OLD BOOK 5. Continue east down the ramps to the beach. Approach the openings on the right to trigger a scene. When you regain control, return to the openings. Two of the rooms contain chests with a WATER ORB and MAGICAL PIECE. After gathering the loot, return to the Oracle’s Conclave above.

When you regain control, head east up the ramps until a scene takes over. Tell Isato you’ll go with him upriver. Save your game again if you like then enter the North Woods. Watch a scene at the top of the mountain. When it ends, you’ll be back inside the Oracle’s Conclave. Talk to Logg and Lun in the room across the hall then go upstairs and enter the guestroom on the far left. Tell Lyon you are ready to sleep.

In the morning, the group automatically leaves Lunas. Travel south past East Palace, until you reach the riverfront town of Raftfleet.

RAFTFLEET

* Items: Thunder Piece, Fire Sealing Piece, Mega Medicine 3, Sacrificial Jizo, Fish Badge, Silver Robe, Flowing Piece, Old Book 1

When you arrive, Sialeeds points out the ship you’re supposed to board but there’s quite a bit of exploring to do first. Move forward to see a scene involving a beaver named Meroon then head northeast to visit the Trading Post. Head southwest past the save point to find an Inn. Search the southern end of this boat for a chest containing a THUNDER PIECE. The boat next to this one has a chest containing a FIRE SEALING PIECE. After acquiring it, return to the intersection and head northeast to the Appraiser’s boat.

Enter the boat above the Appraiser where you’ll find two doors marked with arrows. Take the red arrow door outside then head south across the dock. On the left you’ll find two chests containing MEGA MEDICINE 3 and a SACRIFICIAL JIZO. Northeast of these chests is a Rune shop boat. After visiting it, head south to reach the Blacksmith’s boat. The door on the right leads to Armor and Item shops. Talk to the old woman in back of the Item shop boat to receive a FISH BADGE. There’s a chest containing a SILVER ROBE on the boat slightly west of this one.

When ready, backtrack to the boat with red and blue arrows and take the northwestern door outside. Move forward until you reach the large ship Sialeeds pointed out earlier. Board the Dahak and go upstairs. Use the save point on top if you like then take the northern stairs down to ship’s training facility. Speak to the Combat and Magic Trainers inside if you want to improve your party’s skills; otherwise ascend the stairs in the center of the room. Once you’ve reached the upper deck, head southwest to find two chests outside. They contain a FLOWING PIECE and OLD BOOK 1. Go back inside and ascend the stairs on the left.

On top, a cutscene takes over introducing Raja and Kisara. When it ends, complete any business you have in Raftleet then exit town. Travel northwest to get back to Sol-Falena.

SUN PALACE

When you’re ready to advance the story, enter the Sun Palace to trigger a scene in the foyer. Afterwards, visit the Queen in her private room behind the thrones in the Audience Chamber. Watch a cutscene. When it ends, go back to your room. You’ll find Dr. Murad standing outside the knight’s quarters in the east wing of the castle en route to your room on the 2nd floor. If ready, tell the maid you wish to rest. Watch a scene that takes place during the night.

When you regain control, you’ll be at Gizel and Lym’s engagement party. After Sialeeds joins you, speak with those in the room, ending with Ferid. When asked, tell him you are “pretty much done” to wrap up the party. Watch scenes that show an evil plot unfolding.

BOSS >> ASSASSIN
Reward: Medicine 1

Strategy: The Assassin is quick and will evade most physical attacks, so use rune magic or scrolls instead. Have Sialeeds cast The Shredding if she’s learned it while your other characters stick with the Sworn Protector Co-Op attack. The Assassin causes about 30HP damage per round and usually attacks first, so heal whenever anyone’s HP gets below 50.

After the battle, tell Sialeeds you are worried about your mother and Lym then leave the room to trigger a dialogue scene in the hall. When you regain control, head north. You’ll have to fight your way through some Godwin Soldiers as you make your way downstairs but they are easy to defeat. Watch a scene at the landing then continue downstairs where you’ll run into Childerich and Dolph.

BOSS >> CHILDERICH & DOLPH
Rewards: Prosperity Piece

Strategy: Although it is possible to beat this fierce duo, it’s highly unlikely. Just give it your best shot and don’t worry if you get slaughtered. To even have a chance at winning, you’ll need the best armor, everyone’s weapons sharpened to level 5, Water & Fire Runes equipped, and lots of Medicine in your inventory. You will not get Game Over for losing this fight.

Watch the scene that follows. After Zegai joins your party, approach the door to trigger a scene with Georg bringing bad news. After he joins, head east towards the Knight’s Guard Room until a scene takes over. Follow Sialeeds into the secret passageway. Once there, move forward until the group automatically escapes in a boat.

You’ll take control in front of the East Palace. Travel north towards Lunas and enter when ready.

LUNAS / NORTH WOODS

* Items: Medicine

Enter the Oracle’s Conclave on the east side of town. After meeting with Haswar, go upstairs and enter the guestroom on the far left to trigger additional scenes. When you regain control, go downstairs and visit Haswar again. After the party regroups, leave the room. Take the western door out to the entrance of North Woods. Speak to the cleric standing next to the save point to receive some MEDICINE then enter the Woods.

Follow the path up the hill until a scene takes over. When you regain control, head east and climb the ladders up ahead. Continue east to a third ladder. Descend and continue heading east until you reach the entrance to Lord Barow’s territory. After Isato departs, you’ll be back on the World Map. Travel southeast to get to Haud Village.

HAUD VILLAGE

* Items: Boost Piece, Drain Piece, Cross Tactic, Wind of Sleep S, Power Piece, Window Set 3, 1,000 Potch

Watch a scene then explore the colorful village. Heading south from the save point, you’ll find a tall sculpture surrounded by a low wall. Open the chest next to it to acquire a BOOST PIECE. Continue south through the gap in the wall and speak to the Flashy Woman dressed in pink on the right. Just beyond her, you’ll find a chest containing a DRAIN PIECE. Go back through the wall opening and head northwest, past the save point. Veer east down the adjacent street then go south when you can to reach a chest containing the CROSS TACTIC. To the left, you’ll find Item and Armor shops. Buy what you need then head northeast to the Appraiser’s shop. Entering initiates a scene between the owner (Bastan) and an artisan.

Enter the Inn further north. There’s a chest to the right of the clerk’s counter containing a WIND OF SLEEP S. In the southeast corner outside the Inn, you’ll find another chest with a POWER PIECE. Take the blue staircase below the Inn down to a boat dock. Look for a chest in the lower left corner to receive WINDOW SET 3. Go back upstairs and continue south all the way to the very end of the street. Open a chest there to receive 1,000 POTCH. Now head north and cross the bridge on the right to trigger a scene introducing Boz. After Zegai leaves the party, speak to Boz by the boat stairs. Tell him you are ready to depart then watch as the boat sails to Rainwall.

RAINWALL

* Items: 1,000 Potch, Mega Medicine 3, Prosperity Ring, Silk Cape, Magic Absorb Piece, Fortune Piece, Wind of Sleep S, Crescent Tactic

When you take control, ascend the ramps on the left. Use the save point on top then head west to find a chest on the lawn with 1,000 POTCH. Visit the Item shop next door then head east along the brick path near the dock. Go across a waterfall then walk down to a chest that contains MEGA MEDICINE 3. Return to the save point and travel north up the stairs to the 2nd level of town.

Enter the Inn on the left. Look for a chest in the upstairs guestroom that contains a PROSPERITY RING. Back outside, follow the dirt path next to the Inn, heading west, and enter the house at the end. Inside, you’ll find a chest containing a SILK CAPE. Go back towards the central fountain and follow the dirt path behind the buildings on the right. Cross the bridge to reach the Armor and Rune shops. The path behind this building leads to a chest containing a MAGIC ABSORB PIECE. After getting the item, return to the central fountain and go upstairs.

On the 3rd level, approach the Trading Post on the left to witness a scene involving Alhazred, a collector of rare tomes (you must watch this event in order to recruit him later on). After he leaves, walk behind the Trading Post to get to the town’s Training facility. After upgrading combat and magic skills there, head further west to find a chest on the lawn containing a FORTUNE PIECE. On the east side of this level, there’s a Blacksmith who can sharpen weapons up to level 5. Enter the white house further east and look upstairs for two chests containing a WIND OF SLEEP S and the CRESCENT TACTIC. After getting the items, return to the main plaza and go upstairs to the 4th level.

Approach the Appraiser’s shop on the left to trigger a scene with Euram. When it ends, the group will be inside the Barows Mansion. After meeting Luserina, go upstairs to trigger a scene involving Chuck, who is in charge of the mansion’s storage. When you regain control, go down and enter the Storeroom on the left. Since there’s a limit on how many items you can carry in this game, store all items you do not need at the moment (e.g. Old Books, Plants, Bath items, Cooking items, etc.) Afterwards, go upstairs and approach the southeastern door to trigger a scene in which Lyon reveals part of her past.

Watch a cutscene showing Gizel’s army approaching, then go downstairs to meet the group assembled in the lobby. When prompted, agree to Salum’s plan. When he asks if you are prepared to go into battle, say “No” so that you can save your game outside first. After doing so, return to Salum and tell him you are ready to begin.

WAR BATTLE >> THE FIRST BATTLE
Rewards: (Victory+) 5,000 Potch, Hungry Wolf Tactic
Goal: Destroy all enemies.
Defeat Conditions: Hero is killed.

Strategy: During your first War Battle, you’ll command 5 units: a Rune Archer (Sialeeds), a Spearman (Boz), and 3 Infantry units (Hero/Lyon and two NPCs). Like Duels, War Battles are a variation of rock-paper-scissors: Infantry units are strong versus Archers but weak against Cavalry, Archer units are strong versus Cavalry but weak against Infantry, and Cavalry units are strong versus Infantry but weak against Archers. Some units have special skills they can use. In this battle, your Hero’s unit has 3 Charges that allow you to damage the enemy with greater force and Sialeeds has Cyclone magic. Start by sending two Infantry units at the Archers to take them down quickly. Use Charge when attacking the enemy’s Infantry to reduce the amount of damage that you take. As a rule, reload your game if any of your characters are killed in battle since you’ll need all 108 recruits alive in order to get the best game ending. Additionally, keeping casualties to a minimum helps in your recruitment of a character later on as well as how much Potch you earn once each battle ends. If you use all special skills you have at your disposal, this battle will be over quickly.

Upon victory, watch a couple of scenes. When you regain control, go downstairs to meet General Dinn then speak to everyone in the lobby. At this point, you can start recruiting the 108 Stars of Destiny! In ‘Suikoden V’, character recruitment often requires certain steps to be taken before people will join and most of these events are time-based. By following this walkthrough, you should be able to recruit all of them. For now, leave the mansion.

Head south and speak to the Mysterious Woman dressed in black who is now standing by the fountain below. Afterwards, continue down the stairs to find Dr. Murad standing near the fountain next to the save point. Request his assistance. Murad will decline but, as mentioned above, you must complete this step in order to recruit him later on. Save your game then go down to the boat dock.

Once there, you’ll see that Boz’s ship has been replaced with Oboro’s Detective Agency. Go inside to trigger a scene with Shiguri, Sagiri, and Fuyo. When it ends, leave the agency and exit to the World Map.

WORLD MAP

Your goal is to reach Raftleet, which is sitting on the Feitas River southwest of Rainwall. If you feel like doing a little exploring first, travel west from Rainwall until you reach a big hole in the ground. Approach it and choose to enter.

BIG HOLE (OPTIONAL)

Talk to the soldier up ahead then continue down to the bottom where you’ll find a save point. Use it then enter the opening on the western wall. Keep moving forward, taking advantage of tougher enemies down here for some great experience. Eventually, you’ll come across an old man (Levi) and his assistant (Bergen). Speak to both to lay groundwork for recruiting them later on. There’s a sealed door up ahead but not much else, so backtrack to the entrance or use an Escape Scroll to get there quickly. Exit the Big Hole.

RAFTFLEET

Before visiting Raja on the large ship, enter the Inn to trigger a scene introducing Retso and Shun Min. Rest there if you like; otherwise, navigate through the boats towards Raja’s ship, the Dahak. On your way there, you may want to visit the Blacksmith, who can now sharpen weapons to level 7. Also, talk to the Item merchant, Shinro, and ask for his help so that you can recruit him later on.

When ready, board the Dahak and go upstairs to talk to Raja about gaining the support of Lordlake. Afterwards, leave the ship to trigger a scene with Kisara, who offers the use of her husband’s boat. To find it, head back to the boat with the red and blue arrows on the wall. Once there, go through the red arrow door and head south. When you reach the wooden landing, you’ll see Logg and Lun standing next to the vessel. Approach them to trigger a scene. Tell them you “want to go to Lordlake” to automatically begin the journey.

SOUTHERN WHARF / WORLD MAP

After the boat deposits you on the other side of the river, Lun joins your party. Exit the wharf by heading east. Back on the World Map, travel south along the river until you come upon an inaccessible structure that has shored up the water. Continue south into the barren forests then veer east until you reach Lordlake.

LORDLAKE

After using the save point, speak to Talgeyl. When he asks what brings you there, ask if there’s anything you can do to help. Watch the scene that follows. When it ends, you can talk to the vendors in town as well as Goesch who is standing across from the Inn. There’s not much else you can do here at the moment, so exit Lordlake.

Go back to the Wharf and sail to Raftleet. Conduct any business you have there then return to Rainwall on foot.

RAINWALL

Enter the Barows mansion and speak with Salum. When the conversations ends, go upstairs. Visit Euram in his room if you want to watch a brief scene or just enter your room to advance the story. In the morning, speak with those gathered in the lobby to learn more about the tactician you need to find. When ready, exit Rainwall and travel southwest back to Raftleet.

RAFTFLEET

Locate Logg and Lun near their boat and ask them to take you to Agate Prison. Watch the scenes that follow.

BASKA MINES

* Items: Resurrection Piece, Turtle Orb, Martial Arts Garb, Sound Set 4, Mother Earth Piece

After the boat docks, Logg and Lun join your party. Use the save point up ahead then travel southeast to find two chests that contain a RESURRECTION PIECE and a TURTLE ORB. Speak to the beaver standing nearby then enter the mineshaft above him.

Move forward until you reach an intersection. Follow the eastern path to a mine cart. Kick it (press X) so that it breaks through the northern wall then take the new path to a fork in the road. Head northeast to another intersection. Follow the northern path to a chest containing MARTIAL ARTS GARB then backtrack to the intersection and head east towards a save point. After using it, move forward to a chest containing SOUND SET 4. From here, travel west until you come to another cart you can kick.

Pass through the new opening then follow the eastern path to a chest containing a MOTHER EARTH PIECE. From here, head west. At the next two intersections, go south then travel west until you arrive at the Dwarf Camp.

DWARF CAMP

* Items: Skullcap, 1,000 Potch

Watch a scene and when you are given control, explore the campsite. You’ll find an Item shop and an Inn on the left and an Armor shop and Trader on the right. Cross the bridge to the east and speak to the Blacksmith to learn that he needs a special hammer in order to sharpen human weapons. Head further east to the Appraiser’s tent and open the chest inside to receive a SKULLCAP. Next door, you’ll find a Rune shop and a chest near the dog containing 1,000 POTCH. The ladder next to this chest leads to the World Map, but avoid it for now. Instead, climb the ladder on the upper west side of town. Head north to trigger a scene. After Gunde joins the party, you’ll be inside the northern part of the mines.

BASKA MINES

Move forward to an intersection. If you want to fight a mini-boss (Huge Legs), explore the eastern path; otherwise go north. At the next intersection, continue north into a large opening. Veer west through the opening and at the next intersection, head east. Follow this path until you reach yet another intersection. Here, go north. Ignore the next few intersections and continue traveling north until you arrive at a wall of rocks. After watching a scene, Gunde leaves and your party enters the hole he created.

AGATE PRISON

* Items: Military Uniform, Guard Ring
Recruits: Lucretia, Cius, Lelei

When you take control, save your game then go through the door on the left. Ascend the stairs then enter the door on the southern wall to trigger a scene. Afterwards, move forward through the cellblock until you reach a room with a chest. Open it to acquire a MILITARY UNIFORM then go through the door in the southeast corner.

In the next area, take the eastern door to a room with a chest containing a GUARD RING then enter the north-facing door to reach another cellblock. Move forward until a scene takes over.

BOSS >> PRISON GUARDS x 4
Reward: Fire Orb, Shield Orb

Strategy: The two Prison Guards wielding swords are the actual “bosses” here, while the other two are just normal enemies. Have characters without rune magic physically attack the two Guards in the back, while your magic users focus on the tougher ones in front. Naturally, any magic that hits multiple enemies works well in this battle, as does elemental magic that continues to cause damage over time (Fire or Ice spells, for example). All of the Guards are quick on their feet so keep your party healthy at all times.

After viewing a couple of scenes, Lucretia, Cius, and Lelei join the Stars of Destiny. Head south then travel west through the first room. During your escape, you’ll notice life bars suddenly appear above the heads of enemies, courtesy of Lelei’s Analyze skill. Take the southern door in the second room out to a wharf and watch the scenes that follow, ending back in Raftleet.

RAFTFLEET

* Recruits: Raja, Kisara, Logg, Lun, Shinro, Sairoh

Upon your arrival, you are told to go to the Dahak. Feel free to sharpen your new party members’ weapons first though, or conduct any other business you have in the shops. When ready, save your game then board the Dahak and speak to Raja upstairs. During the scene, you’ll be asked if you want to defend Raftleet. Answer, “Of course!” to engage in another war battle.

WAR BATTLE >> INTERCEPTING LUGER’S FLEET
Rewards: (Victory+) 6,000 Potch, Luck Ring
Battle Goal: Halve Bahram’s ship’s HP or neutralize all others.
Defeat Conditions: Hero is killed or the Dahak is destroyed.

Strategy: During your first naval battle, you’ll control 7 ships, including the large Dahak. The enemy also has quite a few ships but after approaching you, some will sink, making the battle considerably easier. In terms of goals, neutralizing Bahram is the easier choice (just have Boz’s Ram ship continually charge at him). On the other hand, sinking the other ships garners you some rare items. The disadvantage is that you’ll sustain more casualties. Either way, be careful with your ComShips since there is nothing that they are particularly strong against in this battle.

Upon victory, watch a scene during which Raja and Kisara join the Stars of Destiny (although you are never formally shown their names, Logg and Lun have joined the Stars at this point as well). Leave the Dahak and visit the Item Shop. Simply speak with the merchant, Shinro, to recruit him.

After recruiting Shinro, speak to his father, Sairoh, who is standing behind the Trader on the boat near the entrance. If you have been buying a lot of salt (at least 6) from other traders in the world, Sairoh will comment how expensive salt has become. He’ll ask you to figure out a way to bring down the price. If he doesn’t make this comment, keep buying salt and check the rumor boards until you see that “the price of salt has skyrocketed”. When you see this rumor pop up, sell all of your salt to the Raftleet Trader then talk to Sairoh, who will finally join the Stars of Destiny.

When ready, exit Raftfleet to trigger a scene.

RAINWALL

* Recruits: Kyle

When you regain control, enter the Barows mansion for a scene with Salum. When it ends, go upstairs to your room to confer with your comrades. Afterwards, form a party by speaking to Luserina downstairs. Leave the mansion and visit Oboro in his agency on the dock. After he accepts your proposal, enter the Inn and speak with the drunken man who is standing at the counter a few times.

Once Norden’s dialogue starts repeating, exit the Inn and watch a scene outside. Choose, “I’ll go too!” then go down to Oboro’s boat. During the next scene, choose, “I want to see how this unfolds” then head north up the eastern staircase to trigger another scene. Afterwards, continue upstairs to see a scene near the Barows Mansion. When it ends, return to Oboro’s boat and say, “I’ve come this far! I can’t leave!” Now, go to the Inn and speak with Nordon again. Afterwards, go to Oboro’s boat and say, “Shall we take him...there?” to automatically sail to the Wharf. Exit to the World Map and head southeast towards Lordlake. Watch a scene upon entering then go back to the Wharf, where you’ll find 6 Barows Soldiers who are anxious to fight. After defeating them, the party sails to Raftleet. When Oboro’s crew leaves the party, travel back to Rainwall.

Enter the Barows mansion to witness the arrival of an old friend, Kyle. After he joins the Stars of Destiny, you can either go upstairs to rest (to advance the story) or do some recruiting first. If you plan on recruiting, put Sialeeds in your party along with Cius or Lelei.

HAUD VILLAGE (OPTIONAL)

* Recruits: Josephine, Cornelio, ReMiFa (non-Star), FaSoLa (non-Star)

To get to Haud Village from Rainwall, head north along the east side of the river. Once inside the village, head south and speak to the Flashy Woman dressed in pink, whom you met on a previous visit. If you have Sialeeds in your party, Josephine will join the Stars.

Next, enter the large house on the eastern side of town to initiate a battle against a group of musical elves. After an easy victory, choose to help Cornelio. Once he joins your party, head south to find the DoReMi elf standing in the street. During the battle that ensues, have all of your characters defend while Cornelio uses his DoReMi Rune. If you accidentally kill this elf, you will never be able to recruit Cornelio, so keep your weapons sheathed. After capturing the elf unharmed, Cornelio joins the Stars of Destiny.

Note that the musical elves are not counted towards the Stars of Destiny – recruiting them is more like a mini-game. To recruit FaSoLa, keep Cornelio in your party but have one empty slot then run around the forests southwest of Rainwall until you encounter the elf. As before, have your characters defend while Cornelio uses his DoReMi Rune.

BASKA MINES / AGATE PRISON (OPTIONAL)

* Items: Map of Falena
Recruits: Egbert, Takamu

Use Logg’s boat to get to the Baska Mines then follow the passages back up to the Dwarf Camp. Save your game in camp before entering the northwestern portion of mines. Once inside, navigate to the northwest corner where you will find Egbert standing in a dead end. Do not use the X button to speed through any of his dialogue. In order to recruit him, you must endure his lengthy rant without pressing the X button until you see the ‘continue’ symbol appear in the bottom right corner of each text box. Even if you have set text to display instantly, Egbert’s dialogue will not immediately appear during this conversation. Just sit back and watch until Egbert finally joins. After recruiting Egbert, backtrack through the mine until you can head northeast. Enter Agate Prison.

Go upstairs to the cellblock and approach the second cell for a scene with Takamu. If Cius or Lelei are in your party, they will unlock the cell. When given a choice, say, “Please come with me!” and Takamu will ask for a favor. After he joins your party, head south and approach the 4th cell to trigger a scene with a mysterious character named Killey. Once he leaves, return to the save point downstairs. Watch another scene then examine the crates in the corner to receive an extremely helpful MAP OF FALENA. After Takamu joins the Stars of Destiny, exit the mines and sail back to Raftleet.

ESTRISE (OPTIONAL)

* Items: True Men Tactic, Rage Piece, Silence Orb, Mega Medicine, Cyclone Piece

The town of Estrise is southeast of Rainwall. Visit it now if you want to collect a few items and introduce yourself to some characters that you’ll be able to recruit later on. Upon entering Estrise, head east in between the buildings until you can veer south. Continue east to the water’s edge then enter the building to the north. Speak to Babbage and his assistant, Sorenson, then attempt to leave the workshop to trigger a scene with a girl named Lu. Afterwards, backtrack towards the entrance and head north into the town’s main square.

Head east in between the Appraisal and Rune shops to reach the Training Hall (offering both Combat and Magic skill upgrades) as well as an Armor shop. Further east, you’ll find a chest near the water that contains the TRUE MEN TACTIC. From here, head north along the thin wooden walkway. Once you’ve passed the docks, head west, going in between the stone windmills. Look for a chest among the trees that contains a RAGE PIECE. Continue heading west to return to the town square.

There’s an Item vendor in between the two northern staircases. Look for a chest behind the stall on the right to acquire a SILENCE ORB. On the western end of this area, there’s a Blacksmith who can sharpen weapons to level 7 and an Inn. Ascend the stairs below the Inn and enter the door on top. Open a chest near the beds to obtain MEGA MEDICINE then speak to Kurtz and Keith (Boz’s kids). Go downstairs afterwards and speak to Boz’s wife, Donna.

Back outside, climb the stone staircase north of the Item vendor. After reaching the ship on top, head east to find a chest containing a CYCLONE PIECE. Go further east if you want to visit the Trading Post; otherwise, exit Estrise and return to Rainwall.

RAINWALL

* Recruits: Chuck

When you’re ready to advance the story, enter the Barows mansion and go upstairs to rest. During the night, Salum pays you a visit. Respond negatively to each of his comments, otherwise you’ll be forced to watch the “Bad Ending” and the game will prematurely end. To avoid this, say:

“I’ll pretend I didn’t hear that.”
“I’d be betraying Falena.”
“I’m not fighting to become King.”

In the morning, exit your room to regroup with Lyon then go downstairs. Speak to all of the folks in the lobby then return to your room to find Georg, who briefs everyone on what he has learned. When you regain control, go downstairs to trigger a scene introducing two mercenaries, Wilhelm and Mueller. When Salum asks if you’re ready to go into battle, stall so that you have time to save your game in town. Return to Salum when you’re ready to begin.

WAR BATTLE >> RAINWALL DEFENSE CAMPAIGN, PT. 1
Rewards: None
Battle Goal: Draw the enemies into the Southern Forest.
Defeat Conditions: Hero is killed.

Strategy: Unlike previous battles, the goal here is not to approach your enemies at all. Instead, move all troops south into the forest. When Dilber comments that you’re fleeing, you’ll know you are doing the right thing. Once your entire army is in the forest, start heading west. When you reach the mountains, a scene unfolds. At this point, stop and wait for further orders. This portion of the battle is over, and you have won.

WAR BATTLE >> RAINWALL DEFENSE CAMPAIGN, PT. 2
Rewards: (Victory+) 8,000 Potch, Guardian Boots
Battle Goal: Halve Jidan’s force’s HP or destroy all other units.
Defeat Conditions: Hero is killed.
Foes: Cavalry x 3 (HP: 200), Jidan (HP: 300)

Strategy: At Lucretia’s suggestion, do not move your army unless you absolutely have to. Let Dilber’s army do all the dirty work in order to save you casualties. If your new allies are slaughtered, then and only then should you join the fray. To win, either halve the Jidan’s HP (Archers, especially those with Rune spells, work best) or kill everyone else. Killing everyone else garners better rewards (such as Lancer Armor) but it’s also quite a bit harder. If you choose this method for victory, provide ample backup for any units you send in to avoid unnecessary casualties.

Watch the scene that follows, during which Luserina asks that you accompany her into the Storeroom. Go there and talk to Chuck. When prompted, choose whether the Hero or Lyon will duel him.

DUEL >> CHUCK

Strategy: Chuck rarely guards but it is a bit difficult to predict his specials as his more boastful quotes often result in normal attacks. Fortunately, if you lose to Chuck, you can just ask him to duel again.

After winning, go downstairs. Approach the wardrobe in the back of the room to receive the DAWN RUNE. Afterwards, return to the lobby to confront Salum. When the scene ends, Chuck joins the Stars of Destiny. Go down to the save point near the city’s entrance and watch a scene with Wilhelm and Mueller then exit Rainwall. Travel southwest until you reach Raftleet.

RAFTFLEET

* Recruits: Oboro, Fuyo, Shigure

Board the Dahak and speak with Raja upstairs. When she asks what your next course of action should be, choose, “Let’s save Lordlake!” Watch a few scenes then select a name for your army. Afterwards, speak to Luserina to form a party (she’s standing in between the Combat & Magic Trainers downstairs). If you recruited Egbert, you'll find him standing to the left of the Combat Trainer. Talk to him if you want to play his Checkers game. Afterwards, go upstairs to see that Chuck has temporarily moved his Storeroom next to the save point. Exit the Dahak.

Walk back towards Raftfleet’s entrance to find Oboro’s Agency boat docked there now. Enter to trigger a scene. If you helped Oboro with his investigation in Rainwall earlier, talk to Oboro and he’ll join the Stars of Destiny right away. If you did not complete that event, you will need to ask him to join 5 times before he will finally agree to. Note that Oboro will not always give you the option to ask (sometimes his dialogue is generic) and he will leave Raftfleet for good after the Queen’s Campaign. If you have not asked him to join 5 times before then, you will never be able to recruit him or the characters he comes with, Fuyo and Shigure. Fuyo, by the way, plays a tile game called Feitas.

You’ll find the redheaded warrior, Gavaya, standing near Oboro’s boat as well but the requirement for recruiting him will come later. When ready, exit Raftleet to trigger a scene involving the two Dragon Cavalry members you saw practicing at the Sacred Games earlier, Rahal & Roog. Before traveling to Lordlake, you can recruit another character in Lunas. If you aren’t interested in recruiting, skip ahead to Lordlake.

NORTH WOODS / LUNAS (OPTIONAL)

* Recruits: Zegai

Put Takamu in your party then take Logg’s boat to Haud Village. Exit the village from the west then travel northwest until you reach the North Woods of Lunas. Once there, head west until Takamu stops the group. After he opens the path, go north where you’ll bump into an elf named Urda. Put her in your party then head west through the trees to enter Lunas.

Enter the Oracle’s Conclave to trigger a scene with Isato. When it ends, go upstairs and enter the first guestroom. Ask Isato to join you and he will decline at this point. Go downstairs and exit the Conclave through the western door. Go back through the North Woods. When you reach the end of the path, Urda leaves the party. Exit to the World Map then immediately re-enter the woods. Return to the spot where you met Urda and the group will comment on a noise they hear. Head north past Urda to find your old friend, Zegai, standing near the water. When prompted, say, “I’m glad to see you, too” then ask for his help twice to recruit him. Sail back to Raftleet from Haud Village.

LORDLAKE / RAFTLEET

Lordlake is not far from Raftfleet’s new location. Just follow the river south until you reach the parched forest then head east to Lordlake. Upon entering, speak with Talgeyl then go with him to the clinic to trigger a scene with Dr. Silva. Exit and watch another scene outside. Allow Toma to come with you then travel back to Raftfleet.

Speak with Raja on the Dahak then attempt to leave the room to trigger a few scenes. When you regain control, ask Raja for directions to Yashuna Village. Afterwards, form a party then go down to Logg’s boat and ask him to take you there.

YASHUNA VILLAGE

* Items: ArrowStance Tactic, Prosperity Sandals, Mother Earth Piece, Cyclone Piece

Before leaving the dock, head south to find a chest containing the ARROWSTANCE TACTIC. On the north side of the village, you’ll find an Appraiser, Armory, Item shop, and Trader. Head east past the Hot Springs Inn and descend the stairs at the end. Below, enter the Tricolor Inn on the right. Speak to the beaver inside (Miroon) to trigger a scene. Back outside, head further east to find a chest with PROSPERITY SANDALS.

Now go back upstairs and head west. Take the western staircase down to a Rune shop. Enter the house next to the shop to find a chest containing a MOTHER EARTH PIECE. Exit and head east to another house. Inside, you’ll find a chest with a CYCLONE PIECE. Use the save point outside then exit to the south. Back on the World Map, follow the road southeast until you reach the Mountain Path.

MOUNTAIN PATH

* Recruits: SoLaTi (non-Star)

After saving your game, head south. Along the way, you might encounter SoLaTi. If you have Cornelio in your party and one empty slot, you can recruit the little elf. As usual, have the party defend while Cornelio uses his special rune. Though the mountain path is long, there are no intersections so just keep going until you reach the World Map again. Once there, head southwest to Beaver Lodge.

BEAVER LODGE

* Items: Flowing Piece

Watch a short scene as you enter then follow the northwestern path to a ladder. Climb up and enter the hut. Watch a scene inside, during which Maroon joins your party. Open the chest in the corner to get a FLOWING PIECE then exit the hut for another scene. Once you regain control, talk to the beaver standing on the left until he mentions the “boss” who lives near a waterfall upstream. Re-enter the Elder’s Hut and speak to Fuwalafuwalu about this boss. Exit the hut.

If you want to visit the area where this “boss” is located, use the northwestern exit to leave Beaver Lodge. If you’re in a rush to advance the story, exit the lodge from the way you entered (southeast) and go back through the Mountain Path to Yashuna Village.

WATERFALL BASIN (OPTIONAL)

* Items: Pale Moon Beads, Resurrection Piece, Voice Set 4

The Waterfall Basin is southeast of Beaver Lodge. Enter and head south until you see some rocks leading east over the river. Cross them then head north to a chest containing PALE MOON BEADS. From here, head south until you reach an intersection. Continue south then head west over the river rocks when you can. On the opposite side, go east then veer south to find a chest containing a RESURRECTION PIECE. Take the rocks back over the river then continue north. At the intersection, follow the eastern path to the river’s edge. Once there, head east until you reach some rocks you can cross.

On the other side, continue heading east to find a well-hidden chest containing VOICE SET 4. Backtrack to the intersection and head south to a save point. After using it, head north until you reach more river rocks you can cross. On the other side, head northeast to the next screen. Speak to the man up ahead and ask him to join you. Richard tells you that Mueller told him to train there and that he cannot leave just yet. Make a note of his location then exit the basin and return to Beaver Lodge. Once there, use the southeastern exit to get to the Mountain Path and follow it back to Yashuna Village.

YASHUNA VILLAGE

Stay overnight at the Inn to replenish the party’s HP/MP and stock up on health items. When ready, exit the village from the south. Travel southwest along the riverfront until you reach a large lake. Approach the cluster of dark boulders on the southern edge to enter Ceras Lake Ruins.

CERAS LAKE RUINS

* Items: Guardian Scarf, Robe of Destiny, Old Book 2, Tiger Tactic, Window Set 2, Basic Magic

Head east to trigger a scene with the man standing outside the ruins. After Zweig joins the party, use the save point then enter the ruins. Move forward until you are forced into a duel with Lorelai.

DUEL >> LORELAI

Strategy: Lorelai uses a wide range of quotes that can be hard to predict. She tends to brag so be careful. If you’re unsure, choose to guard because odds are she’ll perform a special.

After the duel, allow Lorelai to join the party. You may want to head back to Raftfleet to sharpen Lorelai and Zweig’s weapons before moving further since the enemies in these ruins are pretty nasty. When ready, enter the passageway that Zweig has created and watch the scene that follows.

When you regain control, take the western door into a corridor. At the first intersection, head north. Keep going until you can turn north again. Step on the floor switch at the end of the path. Doing so lowers a wall elsewhere in the ruins. Backtrack to the previous intersection and head west now. Open a chest in the room up ahead to obtain a GUARDIAN SCARF then exit and head east to the first intersection you passed. Once there, head south until you reach the new opening. Enter and move forward to an intersection.

Once there, head north and step on the floor switch at the end of the path. Backtrack to the intersection then head west. At the next intersection, go south to find a chest containing a ROBE OF DESTINY. Follow the western path now, going around a corner and down a flight of stairs. At the bottom, continue moving forward until you reach a room with a chest. Open it to receive OLD BOOK 2 then step on the large floor switch in the center. After seeing that some of the water blocking the door in the original room has drained, leave the chamber and travel east to get back to that room. Once there, take the eastern door into a new area.

Move forward and at the first intersection, head south. Follow the path down a staircase and continue forward until you can veer south again. Open a chest at the end to acquire WINDOW SET 2 then head north. Go to the very top of the northern path to find another floor switch. Step on it to lower another wall. Head south now, veering west when you can. When you reach the intersection, head east and go through the newly opened doorway. Move forward until you reach the next intersection. Once there, head north and step on the floor switch at the end of the path. Return to the intersection then head east into a room with a large floor switch. Step on it to drain more water then grab the TIGER TACTIC from a chest in the upper right corner. Exit the room and head west.

At the next two intersections, go south. Descend the stairs again and at the third intersection, head north, veering east when you can. Enter the new passageway and continue forward to the next intersection. Once there, head north into another large room. Grab BASIC MAGIC from the chest on the right then step on the large floor switch in the center to drain the last bit of water. Now, backtrack to the original waterfall room by heading south, west, south, west, and west again.

Now that the water is cleared, enter the door facing north. Move forward until a cutscene takes over. When it ends, use the save point then enter the next doorway to trigger another scene. When you regain control, head north to engage two foes.

BOSS >> DIAMOND SUN x 2
Reward: Flame Armor, Flowing Piece 1, Mega Medicine1, Rage Piece1

Strategy: In this fight, you’ll need to use both magic and physical attacks. The boss on the right is weak against physical attacks whereas the one on the left is weak against magic, so plan your attacks accordingly. Casting a defensive spell such as Clay Guardian will reduce the amount of damage both bosses can do per round. The Diamond Suns cause quite a few status ailments also, so use the Hero’s Dawn Rune to eliminate these effects.

After defeating the pair, head north until a scene takes over. Afterwards, head south and exit the ruins. Suikoden fans will be delighted to see the girl that appears during the scene outside… Viki. She automatically transports the group back to Raftleet.

RAFTFLEET

* Recruits: Viki

Upon your arrival, Viki formally joins the 108 Stars. Board the Dahak and speak with Lucretia and Raja. When prompted, say, “We can’t do that!” for a more favorable response then tell Lucretia you need some time to get ready before going into battle. Save your game then return when you’re prepared to go to war.

WAR BATTLE >> HATRED FORTRESS SIEGE
Rewards: (Victory+) 12,000 Potch, Thunder Helm
Battle Goal: Destroy all enemies.
Defeat Conditions: Hero’s unit or the Dahak are destroyed.

Strategy: Even though the game tells you the goal is to destroy all enemies, the reality is you only have to reduce their numbers to about 500 to achieve Victory+. Spread out your Archers (ideally Rune Archers), Rams, and ComShips so they are ready to strike at particular enemy weaknesses. In other words, don’t cluster your ships in one large pile since they will just slow each other down. Use all of the skills you have, like Recover and Barrage, as well as the Dawn Rune itself. Just keep your units separated for as long as possible to avoid an early onslaught.

After the battle, watch a scene on board the Dahak. Afterwards, select a method to get back to the Ceras Lake Ruins: Either speak to Viki near the Dahak’s save point and ask her to warp you to Yashuna Village, or borrow Logg’s boat to get there. Either way, head southwest from Yashuna and re-enter the ruins.

CERAS LAKE RUINS

Watch a scene upon entering then go inside the ruins to trigger another one involving Lorelai. After she rejoins the party, head north until you reach the sluice gate switchroom. When the scene ends, you’ll be standing in front of a staircase that used to be covered in water. Go down to your new, permanent headquarters.

HEADQUARTERS

* Items: Blinking Mirror
Recruits: Zerase, Zweig, Lorelai

When prompted, pick a name for your castle then exit the War Room. Take the western door into another hallway then head north. Climb the stairs on the left to get to the 4th floor. Enter the Sealed Room for a scene. When it ends, Zerase joins the Stars of Destiny (so do Zweig and Lorelai, although you don't officially see their names pop up).

Go downstairs and head east to another staircase. Follow it down to the 2nd floor guest quarters. The Hero’s room is on the left. Next to it, you’ll find a Comment Box that you’ll want to check occasionally. Go inside to find a handy save point and spruce up the room with any paintings, plants, or statues you’ve collected so far. When ready, leave the room and take the western stairs down to the 1st floor.

In addition to Chuck’s Storeroom, all vendors will eventually set up shops on this level. Speak to Luserina to form a party then visit Viki who is standing next to her mirror slightly below. After receiving the BLINKING MIRROR from her, go back upstairs to the 2nd floor and take the western exit outside. Watch a scene with Toma and Maroon, who ask that you accompany them to Lordlake. After they join the party, head west down to the dock where Logg is standing. Ask him to take you to Beaver Dam. Once there, exit to the east then head southeast to reach Lordlake.

BEAVER DAM / LORDLAKE

* Items: Iron Hammer, Wall Orb
Recruits: Talgeyl, Goesch, Toma, Silva, Norden

Upon your arrival, watch a scene during which Talgeyl, Toma, Goesch, and Silva join the Stars of Destiny. Afterwards, speak to Norden who is standing near the save point. When given a dialogue choice, ask him to join you. If you pick the other option, he will never join. Approach the exit to trigger a scene with Toma and Maroon. After they leave the party, explore the new parts of town.

Head south over the new bridge and look behind the crates in the southeast corner for a chest containing an IRON HAMMER. Now, cross the bridge further south then head east down a new street to find another chest. This one contains a WALL ORB. When ready, exit Lordlake for a scene then travel northwest to get back to Beaver Dam. Watch a scene upon entering then take the boat to Headquarters.

HEADQUARTERS / BEAVER LODGE

* Recruits: Muroon

Speak to Muroon who is standing on the dock near Logg. When prompted, say, “Why don’t you stay and join us?” and he will. Afterwards, use the eastern bridge to exit Headquarters then travel south along the river to get to Beaver Lodge. Once there, go to the Elder’s Hut and ask Fuwalafuwalu to join your cause. He declines so go back to Headquarters.

If you visited Agate Prison earlier and saw the scene with Killey in the 4th cell, he’ll arrive at Headquarters now (you should see a scene near the eastern bridge when you exit from the 2nd floor). Take Killey and Zweig up to the Sealed Room on the 4th floor and watch the scene that occurs there (this is required in order to recruit Killey later on).

Before reporting to Lucretia in the War Room, you may want to recruit a few new characters. If so, put Lun and Takamu in your party then read the optional sections below.

RAFTLEET (OPTIONAL)

Recruits: Wilhelm, Mueller, Subala

To recruit Wilhelm, speak to him in the Raftleet Inn. If you’ve had minimal casualties in war battles (losing no more than, say, 500 troops total thus far) he will join right away along with Mueller. If you’ve lost more than that, you can recruit Wilhelm and Mueller so long as Viki is in your party. They move from inn to inn after each major battle.

With Lun in your party, head north from the dock’s save point. Watch a scene then speak with Subala to initiate another one. When prompted, choose, “She’ll give us, uh...energy?” to begin a fishing competition back at Headquarters. A tutorial screen explains the rules but basically, you just need to catch more fish than she does to recruit her. Play Subala's fishing game whenever you like to collect items from the lake.

DWARF CAMP / LUNAS (OPTIONAL)

* Recruits: Zunda

Give the Iron Hammer you found in Lordlake to the blacksmith (Dongo) in the Dwarf Camp so that he can sharpen your weapons up to level 10. Next, climb the ladder next to the Rune shop and speak to Zunda who standing is behind the dwarf near the northeastern exit. Agree to show her a window. Afterwards, put Takamu in your party and travel to Lunas via the North Woods (northwest of Haud). With Takamu, you should have no problem finding the western entrance to Lunas.

Once there, go the Oracle’s Conclave and enter the first room facing north. Approach the window inside to satisfy Zunda and she’ll join your cause. Back at Headquarters, you’ll find Zunda on the southern ledge outside the 2nd floor. Give her any Window Sets you find during the course of the game.

YASHUNA VILLAGE / ESTRISE / REVOLVING BRIDGE (OPTIONAL)

* Items: Strange Book, Condemnation Orb, Armor of the Gods Epic, Lightning Ring, Equilibrium Piece, Sound Set 3
Recruits: Belcoot, Marina, Alhazred, Sorenson

Travel to Yashuna Village and look for Belcoot outside of the Hot Springs Inn. Ask him to join then enter the Inn for a scene with Marina. Afterwards, Belcoot and Marina join the Stars of Destiny.

If you saw the scene with Alhazred (the rare tomes collector) in Rainwall earlier, go to the Tricolor Inn further east. Enter the upstairs guestroom to trigger a scene, during which you’ll receive a STRANGE BOOK. After getting it, go back to Headquarters and store the book with Chuck. Rest at Marina's new Headquarters Inn then talk to Chuck the next day. Once he returns the book, go to the Tricolor Inn in Yashuna and speak to the woman in the upstairs guestroom. Tell her you “want to return a book…”

Afterwards, travel to Estrise. You’ll find Alhazred north of the fountain. Tell him, “Actually, now that you mention it…” and he will join your party. Take him to Yashuna Village and enter the Tricolor Inn’s upstairs guestroom again. Watch a scene, during which you’ll need to fight the Book of Condemnation.

OPTIONAL BOSS >> BOOK OF CONDEMNATION
Rewards: Resurrection Piece

Strategy: This boss is slow and tends to attack last. When he does connect though, his attacks hit a large range of characters so make sure to keep everyone’s health up. Whenever the book is open, the boss will cast Dark spells. Use defensive spells, especially ones that nullify magic as a whole, to reduce damage. Offensively, stick with physical attacks and the boss will die quickly.

After the battle, watch a scene revealing the true identity of the “Seer” then ask Alhazred to join your cause. In addition to recruiting him, Alhazred gives you a CONDEMNATION ORB.

Go back to Estrise and enter the Inn. Speak with the girl standing in the lobby. Give her 2,000 potch and play her card game. There’s no way to beat her since she cheats, but this step is necessary in order to recruit Linfa later on.

Next, speak to Sorenson in Babbage’s Workshop. After doing this, go to the Revolving Bridge (head north from the Eastern Wharf) and speak to the guard about Babbage. Return to Estrise and speak with Sorenson again. Tell him, “We want to stop the Revolving Bridge” then make room for Sorensen and Babbage in your party. Exit the workshop for a scene with Lu. Allow her to tag along then go back to Headquarters and ask Logg to take you to the Revolving Bridge.

Upon arriving, watch a scene during which 4 Mechanical Soldiers attack the party. This area is filled with mechanical enemies and all are weak against Lightning magic. Most drop Steel Orbs and ?Paintings. Do not appraise the paintings you find here, as one will be needed to recruit another character shortly. For now, go through the western doorway. Use the save point then open a chest in the southwest corner to receive ARMOR OF THE GODS EPIC. Go up to the 2nd floor where you’ll find two staircases. First, take the eastern stairs up to a room with a chest containing a LIGHTNING RING then go back down and take the western stairs up to the 3rd floor. Open the chest on top to get an EQUILIBRIUM PIECE then take the southern stairs up to the next floor. Open a chest to acquire SOUND SET 3 then go through the eastern doorway to trigger a scene.

BOSS >> DIFFERENTIAL GEAR
Rewards: Steel Piece

Strategy: The Differential Gear is slow and will attack last. Start off by casting a defensive spell such as Clay Guardian then use magical attacks. As with all mechanical creatures, Lightning and Thunder spells work best. In lieu of that, use the Dawn Rune.

After the fight, head east into the next room for a scene. When it ends, sail back to Headquarters. Return to Estrise and enter Babbage’s Workshop to trigger another scene. Ask Babbage to join the Stars and he will send Sorensen in his place.

HAUD VILLAGE (OPTIONAL)

* Recruits: Bastan

If you saw the scene with Bastan on your first visit to Haud, talk to him in his Appraisal shop now. If you have a ?Painting in your inventory, he will comment on it. If he does not respond to the ?Painting, exit the shop and re-enter. Keep talking to him until he joins the Stars of Destiny. When he does, you’ll receive the IVANOV PAINTING as well.

WATERFALL BASIN (OPTIONAL)

Recruits: Genoh, Richard

If you visited the Waterfall Basin earlier and met Richard, enter the Inn at Headquarters and talk to Wilhelm in one of the guestrooms. After he tells you to fetch Richard, put an elderly character in your main party (ideally Alhazred) then exit Headquarters via the eastern bridge. On the World Map, head south past Beaver Lodge then veer east to reach the Waterfall Basin.

Once inside the basin, head south then go east over the rocks. On the other side of the river, go south until you reach an intersection. Take the eastern path to the water’s edge. Cross the rocks further east then travel south. Continue forward until you find more rocks you can cross to the north. On the other side, head northeast until you reach the spot where you originally met Richard.

If you spoke to Fuwalafuwalu and the other beavers about the “boss” earlier, you will not see Richard there but instead witness a scene involving an ancient tortoise named Genoh. To recruit him, level up an elderly character (Alhazred, for example) until he/she is exactly one level below your Hero or several levels higher. Once you’ve accomplished this, return to Genoh. When he’s satisfied that the ‘older’ character serves a useful purpose in your party, Genoh will join the Stars of Destiny.

Assuming you met Richard earlier and spoke to Wilhelm about him at Headquarters, exit the screen then re-enter. Go back to the waterfall where you just recruited Genoh to find Richard training. Give him Wilhelm’s message and Richard will join your cause.

HEADQUARTERS

Upon your return, enter the War Room for a scene with Georg. When it ends, exit the castle from the 2nd floor to witness the arrival of a reporter named Taylor. During his briefing, Lucretia asks what you want to do. Answer, “Let’s go to Lelcar!” After Kyle joins the party, go downstairs to fill your remaining slots. Speak with Logg when you’re ready to go to Lelcar, which is southwest of Headquarters.

LELCAR

* Items: White Rose Brooch, Guardian Casque, Tri Tactic, Sacrificial Jizo, Basic Combat, Raging Lion Epic, Rage Piece, Anklets of Destiny
Recruits: Wasil, Volga, Orok, Mohsen

Watch a scene introducing Wasil then head northwest across the sand to find a chest containing a WHITE ROSE BROOCH. Go southeast from there, moving in between the first two buildings to find another chest containing a GUARDIAN CASQUE. Now head southwest down the main path until a scene takes over. When it ends, approach Wasil’s red, 2-story house. Watch a scene inside, during which you’ll learn that Orok’s hunters have entered the city’s east side. Exit the house and continue exploring.

Visit the Appraiser on the right or the Trader on the left; otherwise head south and look behind a fruit tree near the water for a chest containing the TRI TACTIC. Backtrack to the central part of town and head east across the bridge in between two buildings. Once you've arrived on the eastern islet, move forward to trigger a scene introducing Volga.

After Wasil leaves, explore the rest of this islet. Near the fountain, you’ll find an Item shop and Combat Trainer. Head north to an Inn. Go upstairs and look in the first guestroom for a chest containing BASIC COMBAT then exit and continue north to find a Magic Trainer. Look for a chest near the wall in the northwestern corner to acquire a SACRIFICIAL JIZO. Backtrack towards the fountain and take the western bridge over to the central islet. Once there, cross over to the western islet.

Straight ahead, you’ll find a Rune shop and Armor shop. Speak to the man inside the Armor shop who introduces himself as Mohsen. You’ll need to buy 100,000 potch worth of armor from Mohsen’s store in order to recruit him later on. Exit the shop and head north to another Inn. Go inside and speak to the girl sitting in the lobby, whom you’ll recognize as Nikea from the Sacred Games. Leave the Inn and head northeast, crossing over the rocks to a small island. Look next to the gazebo for a chest containing a RAGE PIECE then return to the main path and head south until a scene takes over.

Inside Orok’s mansion, some Bodyguards pick a fight. After defeating them, watch a scene then enter the doorway up ahead. Grab a RAGING LION EPIC from the chest near the door then take the stairs down to a storage room. Watch a scene, during which Nikea arrives.

BOSS >> NIKEA, THUGS x 5
Rewards: Baked Cheesecake, Master’s Robe

Strategy: Given the amount of damage the combined enemies can cause, kill as many as you can on the first two rounds; otherwise, expect a death or two if under-leveled. Use magic that hits multiple enemies at once, especially Ice or Fire-based spells since they cause additional damage over time. Lightning spells such as Soaring Bolt are effective once you have taken down some of the other enemies. Also, cast defensive spells to reduce damage. Alone, Nikea is not a challenge so focus on taking her Thugs out first.

After defeating the group, go upstairs and approach the eastern exit to trigger a scene. When you regain control, you’ll be back in Wasil’s house. When Lelei asks what you want to do, say, “I want to protect Lelcar” then ask her to “wait a bit longer” so that you can save your game before the battle starts. Also, if you head south from Mohsen’s armor shop, you’ll find a chest at the end that contains ANKLETS OF DESTINY. When ready, return to Lelei and tell her you’re ready to go to war.

WAR BATTLE >> LELCAR CAMPAIGN
Rewards: (Victory+) 15,000 Potch, Guardian Chain
Battle Goal: Push enemy ground forces back from Lelcar.
Defeat Conditions: Hero is killed.

Strategy: This will be your largest war battle yet. There are many units to control and they are spread between land and sea. To achieve victory, all you need to do is severely damage Zahhak’s unit. The advantage of taking out other units is that you’ll get other goodies. Whichever you choose, make sure your ground units do not get stuck on the main bridge. If this happens, both sides get slaughtered so avoid it if possible. Note that you don’t have to deal with the ships at all if you finish the ground portion quickly, since the ships are slow to reach each other. Remember to use Rune magic and skills like Charge to make your enemies run. The Dawn Rune is especially helpful when the enemies are clustered on the bridge, so use it instead of rushing towards them.

After the skirmish, Wasil and Volga join your party but there’s no time to rest or save, as 6 Godwin Soldiers immediately attack. These guys are nasty if your party is not well equipped. Make sure to use spells effectively and heal often. When you gain control, head west then veer north back towards the center of town. Note that Godwin Soldiers will continue to attack as you run through. Watch a scene after which Wasil, Volga, and Orok join the Stars of Destiny.

Before returning to Headquarters, speak to Mohsen outside his burnt Armor shop (if you don’t see him standing there, enter and exit the Rune shop next door and he’ll appear). Choose, “I’m sorry to have failed you…” (do not select the other options). Ask him to join your cause. If you bought 100,000 potch worth of armor from his shop before the Lelcar Campaign, he will. If not, you will have to wait until Doraat events unfold to recruit him. When ready, take the boat back to Headquarters.

HEADQUARTERS

* Recruits: Taylor

Upon your return, enter the War Room to learn that you’re needed in Sable, which is east of Lordlake. Before going there, go down to the Inn at Headquarters where you’ll find Taylor. Allow him to use the Inn to conduct an interview then go up to the Sealed Room. Let Taylor use the room then head down to the 2nd floor. Speak to Taylor outside of Georg’s room and he’ll finally join your cause. There are some additional characters to recruit before visiting Sable. If this appeals to you, form a party then ask Viki to teleport you to Lelcar. Skip the optional sections below if you’re not interested in recruiting.

LELCAR / BIG HOLE (OPTIONAL)

* Items: Anklets of Destiny, Devil Beads, Holy Amulet, Prosperity Tunic, Mother Earth Piece, Sorcery Tactic, Mystic Ring, Champion's Orb, Dragon Incense, Magic Ring.
Recruits: Murad, Jeane

In Lelcar, you’ll find Murad tending to the wounded on the Western Islet. Talk to him near the Inn and ask him to join. If you spoke to Murad at least twice before (in Rainwall and Raftleet), he’ll join you immediately. If he does not join now, speak with him after the next major events in Beaver Lodge or Doraat.

If you haven't visited the Big Hole yet (which is north of the Eastern Wharf), do so now. After speaking to the guard there, visit Jeane in Lelcar’s Rune shop. Ask her to join your cause and she’ll request a favor. “Gladly” accept then escort her to the Big Hole. Once there, enter the cave and follow the path west, past Levi and Bergen, until a scene takes over at the end. Enter the new passage and watch the scene that occurs.

When you take control, use the save point then go west. After rounding the corner, continue west to a chest containing ANKLETS OF DESTINY. From here, head east in between the buildings until you can veer south. Navigate through the rubble until you can head east again in between the buildings in the lower right corner. When you reach the central aisle, go north until you can veer west. Follow the path down to two chests containing a HOLY AMULET and PROSPERITY TUNIC then backtrack to the central aisle. Once there, head south then veer east in between the buildings. At the crossroad, continue east to a chest containing DEVIL BEADS then backtrack and head north. Go around the corner and ascend the northern steps. Move forward until you reach the large building at the top of the ruins.

Once inside, move forward to a pair of staircases. Take the eastern staircase into an adjoining room. Ascend the stairs on the left to reach a chest containing a MOTHER EARTH PIECE then go down and follow the northern path around to the western side. Ascend the staircase at the end to find a chest containing the SORCERY TACTIC. Descend and head north through the center door to trigger a scene, during which you should say, “Will you join us now?”

After recruiting Jeane, head west and ascend the south-facing stairs. Continue south to a chest containing a MYSTIC RING. Backtrack and take the north-facing staircase up to a well-hidden chest holding a CHAMPION ORB. After receiving the item, go down to the bottom floor and ascend the stairs facing north to reach a chest containing DRAGON INCENSE. Descend and head east. Climb the staircase on this side of the room to reach the final chest, which contains a MAGIC RING. Leave the Big Hole afterwards (use an Escape Scroll to get there easily).

ESTRISE / YASHUNA VILLAGE / RAFTLEET (OPTIONAL)

* Recruits: Nikea, Linfa

After the battle in Lelcar, you’ll find Nikea in Estrise’s Inn. After a short scene, duel her if you want to recruit her.

DUEL >> NIKEA

Strategy: Near the end of the duel, Nikea starts using her special move over and over again, so if you just defend every round it should be an easy win. She does not have a large array of dialogue options so you should have no trouble beating her. If you do, Nikea will give you a MEGA MEDICINE and join the Stars of Destiny.

Assuming you played Linfa’s card game in Estrise earlier, go to Yashuna Village and look for Linfa near the stream north of the save point. After she returns your 2,000 potch, she’ll leave. After a day or so, go to Raftfleet and look for Linfa inside the Inn. Ask her to join then accept her challenge. If you win, tell Linfa you’ll pay off her debt and allow her to join your party. Talk to the older woman standing on the left who tells you to keep the money. If you lose, Linfa will pay off her own debt using the 5,000 potch you just lost. Either way, she’ll join the Stars of Destiny.

Before leaving Raftleet’s Inn, enter the guestroom on the left to find Norma and her leopard, Ernst. Ask her to join. If you spoke to Norma in Stormfist earlier, she’ll mention she’s still looking for a particular wizard. For now, return to Headquarters and ask Viki to teleport you to Lordlake.

WEST CHECKPOINT / SABLE

* Items: Fate Control Epic, Elementary Magic, Silver Hammer, Old Book 8, Crown of Destiny

From Lordlake, follow the dirt path southeast until you reach Sable’s West Checkpoint. Enter and watch a scene, during which 4 Patrol Guards attack. After an easy victory, Boz and Dinn join your party. Pass through the gate to get back on the World Map and follow the dirt path east until you reach Sable.

Upon arriving, you’ll learn that the imposter’s hideout is on Ranro Mountain. Before going there, explore the town. Take the southern door to a storage room with a chest that contains the FATE CONTROL EPIC. Leave the room and take the western door out to a courtyard. Open the chest near the fountain to obtain ELEMENTARY MAGIC then enter the door in the northwest corner (behind the columns) to get back inside Solis’ mansion. Speak to Salisha and Melissa inside then go through the door on the left. Take the southern exit into town.

Heading north, you’ll find a row of shops selling Items and Armor, as well as a Blacksmith (Level 10), Rune shop, Trader, Appraiser and Skill Trainers. A thin set of stairs next to the Armor shop on the left leads to a chest containing the SILVER HAMMER. Make sure to get it. Access the Inn by going up the staircase in the northeastern corner of town. Go upstairs and speak with the Innkeeper about the Armes Soldier resting in bed then use the southern door in this room to get outside. Head east and look for a chest at the end containing OLD BOOK 8. Exit the Inn and travel east past some crates and barrels until you reach a chest containing the CROWN OF DESTINY. The gate further east leads to Armes Territory but ignore it for now. Instead, exit Sable from the south.

Back on the World Map, you can go directly to Ranro Mountain or take a quick side trip to the Dwarf Camp to drop off that hammer you just found.

DWARF CAMP (OPTIONAL)

* Recruits: Dongo

Assuming you have already given Dongo (the blacksmith) the Iron Hammer you found in Lordlake, offer him the Silver Hammer you just received in Sable. After giving him both items, sharpen any character’s weapon to Level 12. Afterwards, Dongo will join your army.

RANRO MOUNTAIN

* Items: Pale Moon Gloves, Circle Tactic, Swift Foot Epic, Window Set 4, Taira Armor, Wind Ring, Cyclone Piece

Head north from Sable then hug the mountains until you can go east. A scar on your map marks the entrance to Ranro Mountain. Enter and use the save point then move forward to trigger a scene.

When you regain control, head slightly east until you are standing in front of a thick green vine. Press X to shimmy up. Open the chest on top to acquire PALE MOON GLOVES then go back down. Head west until you reach another thick green vine. Climb up then go east to the next thick vine. Climb up. On the 3rd level, you have the option of going east or west. Start by going west. Climb the vine at the end and the next one facing west to reach a chest containing the CIRCLE TACTIC. Go back down both vines until you’re on the 3rd level again. Head east this time.

At the end of the path, you’ll find 2 vines: one that goes up and one that goes down. First, climb down the southern vine and head east. On the level below, continue east and climb up the next vine you see. Open the chest on top to get the SWIFT FOOT EPIC then backtrack to the 3rd level. Once there, climb up the north-facing vine. On top, head west. Climb the vine at the end then go east and climb the next one. Open a chest containing WINDOW SET 4 at the end of the eastern path. Now go down one level and head west. Climb up the vine at the end then continue west to another one. Climb up to a save point. After using it, head east to trigger a scene.

BOSS >> BANDITS x 6
Rewards: Kite Orb, ?Painting

Strategy: The Bandits are quite fast so cast protective Earth spells on your first round to avoid heavy damage. Reduce the number of foes as quickly as possible or they might overwhelm the party. Use high-level Fire spells, Soaring Bolt, and/or Earthquake to cause significant damage to all enemies.

After the battle, watch a scene then head north into the cave. Move forward to an intersection and take the eastern path to a door. Enter and loot the chest inside to acquire TAIRA ARMOR. Exit and backtrack to the intersection. Follow the northern path, ignoring the door on the left, to a room further north. Open the chest inside to get a WIND RING then exit. Go south and enter the door facing west to trigger a scene with Roy.

DUEL >> ROY

Strategy: Roy uses specials most of the time, but often fakes it like he’s going to defend, so it’s a little hard reading him. Unlike other duels, if you lose this one you’ll be forced to watch the ‘bad game ending’ so be careful.

Upon beating Roy, watch a scene and when given an option, say, “I’ll do no such thing” (important). Afterwards, Faylen, Faylon, and Roy join your party. Open the chest in this room to get a CYCLONE PIECE then exit the caves. Climb back down the vines to leave Ranro Mountain or use an Escape Scroll to reach the exit quickly.

Travel back to Sable. On the way there, you’ll notice a new Co-Op attack called ‘Perfect Likeness’ if you have Roy in your party.

SABLE

* Recruits: Dinn, Roy, Faylen, Faylon

Watch a scene at the front gate then enter Solis’ mansion. Go upstairs for another scene then confront Euram and his cronies.

BOSS >> EURAM, BODYGUARDS x 5
Rewards: Rose Brooch, Firefly Orb, Mega Medicine 1

Strategy: Your reduced party makes this fight a bit more difficult. The Bodyguards are extremely quick, but their HPs are rather low so a handful of attacks should take them out. Have Sialeeds use her Wind Rune while Faylen and Faylon target Euram with their Co-Op attack (Brotherly Love). Have your Hero and Lyon use their strongest area attacks depending on the runes they have equipped.

Watch the scene that follows then enter the mansion to trigger another one. Choose, “All I did was clear my good name” when given the option. Afterwards, Dinn and Roy join the Stars of Destiny. Note: If you chose “I’ll do no such thing!” in the caves and “All I did was clear my good name” during this scene, Faylen and Faylon will also join you. If not, you’ll need to go back to the top of Ranro Mountain (with Roy in your party) to recruit them. If you wait too long, these characters will be missed permanently.

When ready, leave Sable and go back to Headquarters.

HEADQUARTERS

Enter the War Room to trigger a scene where Lucretia suggests resting for the night. Before going to your room, there are two time-sensitive characters you can recruit. If you want to get them, do it before going to the Island Nations.

SABLE / RAFTLEET (OPTIONAL)

* Recruits: Nakula, Sagiri

If you visited Sable’s Inn earlier and spoke to the innkeeper upstairs about the injured soldier (Nakula), you’ll find that he is now awake in bed. Talk to Nakula and try to respond as kindly as possible. When the scene ends, go downstairs and Lyon will suggest visiting Oboro. Travel to Rafleet and speak to Oboro in his Agency. After his crew joins your party, go back to Sable and speak with Nakula again. When the scene ends, Nakula joins along with Sagiri.

HEADQUARTERS

When you’re ready to advance the story, rest in your room. After watching a scene, go downstairs and speak with Luserina to form a party. Ask Viki to teleport you to Beaver Lodge and she will deposit you on the World Map at the bottom of the Mountain Path. Head south down the dark road until you reach Beaver Lodge.

BEAVER LODGE

* Items: Toy Beaver
* Recruits: Fuwalafuwalu, Maroon

Watch a scene upon entering during which an Assassin attacks. After defeating him, make room for Maroon in your party and head over to the Elder’s Hut (there are several Assassins in the village right now and each drops a Crazed Orb when defeated). Go inside the Elder’s Hut to trigger another scene.

BOSS >> DOLPH
Rewards: Twin Tactic, Resurrection Piece 1

Strategy: Dolph tends to attack Lyon, so make sure you keep her healthy. His magic defense is strong but high-level spells still work well against him. Physical attacks cause more damage but only if your characters are fast enough to connect, since Dolph has a very high evasion rate.

Watch the scene that follows then exit the Elder’s house to trigger another one, during which Fuwalafuwalu and Maroon joins the Stars of Destiny. After Toma and Goesch arrive, talk to the little beaver dressed in pink near the northwestern exit to receive a TOY BEAVER then return to Headquarters.

HEADQUARTERS

Enter the War Room. After watching a few scenes, you’ll take control in your bedroom. Form a party and travel to Estrise.

ESTRISE / HAUD VILLAGE

* Recruits: Isabel, Mathias

Once in Estrise, walk towards Babbage’s Workshop on the southeastern end of town. En route, you’ll trigger a scene involving some local thugs and two knights named Isabel and Mathias. After they leave, go back to Headquarters.

Upon your return, you’ll see Boz standing next to Luserina. Approach them to trigger a scene, during which you’ll learn that Euram wants to meet with you. Form a party with no more than 3 people total. After Luserina comments that you are going out with “so few people” warp to Haud Village.

Meet Euram near the eastern exit. After watching a scene, Isabel and Mathias help you defeat the 6 Barows Soldiers that appear. Afterwards, tell Isabel you want to “ fight evil together.” Once Isabel and Mathias join the Stars of Destiny, return to Headquarters.

HEADQUARTERS

When you’re ready to advance the story, enter the War Room to learn that your next destination is the Island Nations. After Georg joins the party, go to Estrise and head north to reach the ship that will take you there. Speak with Boz on the dock when you’re ready to depart. Watch the scenes that follow.

NIRVA ISLAND / THE GREAT LIGHTHOUSE

* Items: Voice Set 3, Window Set 7, Divine Right Epic, Striking Tactic, Stone of Speed
Recruits: Bernadette

When you regain control, explore the town. Start by taking the northern stairs up to the next level. Head west towards the Inn and look for a well-hidden chest behind the big tree on the right that contains VOICE SET 3. After getting the item, head north to the next part of town. You’ll find a Blacksmith on the left as well as a Trader and Rune shop on the right. North of these is an Armor shop. Head east from there until you trigger a scene showing a puppet show that’s taking place. Speak with the puppeteer (Chisato) afterwards and ask her to join. Though she will not, this opens the way for recruitment later on. Go up the staircase next to her.

Approach Skald, who is wearing a red cape, to initiate a scene. When prompted, say, “Let’s see if we can help.” After Bernadette joins your party, check out the Item shop and upgrade skills by visiting the Trainers to the west. When ready, climb the stairs next to Skald to reach the Great Lighthouse. Before entering it, head west to find two chests containing WINDOW SET 7 and the DIVINE RIGHT EPIC. Enter the Lighthouse afterwards.

Move forward and ascend the stairs on the right. Keep climbing until you reach two chests. They contain the STRIKING TACTIC and a STONE OF SPEED. Go up the last flight of stairs to trigger a scene, in which Georg suggests splitting into two groups. Tell Lyon you will climb the ladder with her. When you regain control, you’ll be back on the bottom floor. Exit the Lighthouse and ascend the ladder on the left. Enter the door on top to engage the Pirate Captain and his Lackeys.

BOSS >> PIRATE CAPTAIN, PIRATE LACKEYS x 5
Rewards: Strike-Back Orb, Magic Robe

Strategy: Use strong area spells to reduce the number of foes quickly, otherwise the Captain will heal his Lackeys and you’ll have extra work to do. Once his crew is taken out, use your harshest attacks on the Captain.

Watch the scene that follows then exit the Lighthouse to trigger another one outside. After Bernadette joins the Stars of Destiny, finish up any business you have in town then board your ship and sail back to Estrise. Watch a scene upon arriving then return to Headquarters.

HEADQUARTERS

* Recruits: Byakuren

As usual, enter the War Room to trigger some scenes, one of which shows that your base of operations has expanded. Go outside to check out the new areas. The spiral path below the Inn leads to the Round Hall where allied nations are now stationed. The door east of the Round Hall leads to a new Library, Map room, Gears room, Infirmary, and Detective Agency. Further south, you’ll find a Café and Taylor’s newspaper postings. Back outside, head east, and give Goesch any seedlings you’ve collected for his farm.

You’ll find Logg’s dock has expanded also. If you recruited Genoh earlier, put him in your party (he takes up 2 slots) and walk down the long pier past Logg until you encounter a Giant Snake. Defeat the creature to receive a HOWLING ORB. So long as Genoh is in your party, the snake (Byakuren) will join your army. If you defeat Byakuren without Genoh in your party, you’ll have another opportunity to recruit him… when Headquarters expands again.

Before entering the War Room again, there are several new characters to recruit. Skip down if you want to move on with the story.

YASHUNA VILLAGE / BEAVER LODGE / BASKA MINES (OPTIONAL)

* Recruits: Miroon, Moroon, Meroon

Put Maroon and Muroon (the two beavers) in your party then travel to Yashuna Village. Visit Miroon in the Tricolor Inn and choose to help her. After she joins your party, enter the door behind the stairs on the right to reveal a new path. Follow it north into a cave and continue forward until a scene takes over. When it ends, continue north into the hot springs source then head east until a scene takes over. When it ends, Miroon joins the Stars of Destiny. Leave Yashuna and go to Beaver Lodge with Muroon, Maroon, and Miroon in your party.

Speak with Meroon near the southern end of town until she mentions if “Mor knows” what’s happened. Afterwards, visit several shops that are now open for business or just leave Beaver Lodge and go back to Headquarters. Have Logg take you to the Baska Mines.

Once there, speak with the cynical beaver near the mine entrance three times. Afterwards, head back to Beaver Lodge and speak with Meroon again. Tell her that you have spoken with Moroon and she will ask you to take her to him. Do so. Once Moroon joins your party, return to Beaver Lodge for another scene. When it ends, Meroon joins along with Moroon.

ESTRISE (OPTIONAL)

* Recruits: Babbage, Lu

With Sorensen in your party, enter the new Gears room at Headquarters. After the scene inside, travel to Estrise and speak with Babbage in his workshop. Bring him to the Gears room. Wait a day or two until Babbage completes his work then speak with him again in the Gears room. Upon recruiting Babbage, Headquarters will also get a new elevator system.

Next, put Sorenson in your party and go back to Babbage’s Workshop in Estrise. Speak to Lu and she will ask you to find a gear, which is located near the front door. After finding it, Lu will join your army.

RAFTLEET (OPTIONAL)

* Recruits: Retso, Shun Min

Go down to Logg’s dock at Headquarters and speak to Subala to play her fishing game. Keep fishing until you catch a Strange Fish. Afterwards, Subala will comment on it. Bring the fish to Retso, the chef, in Raftfleet’s Inn. Ask him to join and he will mention a special dish he wants to create. Talk to him again and say, “Can you have a look at this fish?” to prompt a scene. Afterwards, bring Shun Min and Retso back to Headquarters.

Go down to Logg’s dock where both will join the Stars. Afterwards, give any ingredients you’ve collected to Retso, who will now be running the Café downstairs. Likewise, give Shun Min any baby fish you catch and she’ll put them in her Aquarium next to the Café.

NIRVA / NAUTICAL GRAVEYARD (OPTIONAL)

* Items: Water Ring, Taira Armor, Robe of Destiny, Pale Moon Boots, Blinking Rune Piece, Window Set 8
* Recruits: Chisato, Yahr, Nelis

Put Bernadette in your party and go to Estrise. Take the ship back to Nirva Island. Once there, you’ll see a scene on the dock involving some pirates. Ask if you can help. When you regain control, go to the northern section of town and visit Chisato, the puppeteer.
Assuming you saw her puppet show earlier (and asked her to join), speak with her again. Ask for her help then watch the scene that follows. You’ll regain control inside the Inn. Exit and return to Chisato. Ask her to join and this time she will.

Go down to the dock to find a new ship anchored on the left. Head south along side it to trigger a scene involving rune cannons. When it ends, board your ship and return to Headquarters where Chisato will leave the party. If you’ve collected any Voice Sets, bring them to her on the north side of the basement level.

With Bernadette still in your party but with 2 empty slots, return to Nirva Island. Go to the Inn and enter the guestroom to meet Nelis and Yahr. After the scene, board your ship. Nelis and Yahr will arrive and ask to tag along (this scene will not occur unless you have 2 empty party slots and saw the scene involving rune cannons). After Nelis and Yahr join your party, watch a scene on board the ship and agree to steer it “towards the light”.

When you take control, the party will be at the base of a Nautical Graveyard. Use the save point then head north along the planks until you reach an intersection. Head east to a chest containing a WATER RING then go west. Enter the hole at the end of the path. Once inside the ship, move forward to an opening. Go through the northeastern door to find a chest with TAIRA ARMOR then exit and head south until a scene takes over.

BOSS >> DAGON
Rewards: Water Orb, Flowing Leather, Fire Sealing Piece, Stone of Luck

Strategy: The water-based creature is thick-skinned so magic works better than physical attacks. Barrage him with Fire and Lightning spells, but don’t exhaust all of your magic since you’ll be facing more enemies once this battle ends. Keep your party’s health up at all times since the boss can kill weaker characters with one or two slaps.

Watch the scene that follows and save your game, then head south onto the next ship. Once there, head east to the upper deck and go inside the hole. Continue east to a chest containing a ROBE OF DESTINY then head south to get back outside. Open a chest in the eastern corner to acquire PALE MOON BOOTS then go back inside the ship and follow the eastern passage until a scene takes over. When it ends, head north onto the next ship then travel east until you reach a door facing north. Enter to get a BLINKING RUNE PIECE from the chest inside. Leave the room and ascend the staircase in the eastern corner.

On top, take the northwestern steps up to a chest containing WINDOW SET 8 then approach the rune cannon on the southeastern end of the ship to initiate a scene. When prompted, say, “It must be destroyed!” (if you pick the other answer, you will never be able to recruit Nelis and Yahr). After the scene, the party automatically returns to Nirva Island. Ask the duo to come with you to Sol-Falena. Assuming you chose the correct response above, Nelis and Yahr will join the Stars of Destiny.

HEADQUARTERS

Go to the War Room where Lucretia suggests taking Doraat. Watch the scenes that follow, ending back in your room. Save your game then return to the War Room when you’re ready to go into battle.

DORAAT

* Items: Quad Tactic, Window Set 6, Pale Moon Casque, Pale Gate Piece, Crane Wing Tactic, Flame Ring, Guardian Chain, Blinking Rune Piece, Triple Harmony Epic

After watching a few scenes, the battle commences.

WAR BATTLE >> DORAAT SIEGE
Rewards: (Victory+) 18,000 Potch, Guardian Scarf
Battle Goal: Get Hero to Doraat.
Defeat Conditions: Hero or the Dahak are destroyed.

Strategy: Your goal is not to kill all of the enemies, but rather to get your Hero into Doraat itself. Keep all ground troops away from the northwestern riverbank, as enemy ships will fire at you on land if you get too close to the water. Ignore the naval fleet unless you want to use your ships to lure the enemy away. After a few rounds, the group of Archers guarding Alenia's unit will automatically perish. At this point, draw as many troops away from Doraat as possible so that the Hero has a clear path into the city. Use his Charges to reduce damage if someone attacks beforehand. If you end up having to rush in without any backups, use the Dawn Rune to help clear the path.

Watch the scene that follows, during which Zerase joins your party. Talk to Luserina to fill the remaining slots and make sure you have plenty of health items equipped as well as in your inventory, because the journey through Doraat is going to be rough. Bring a Healer along for support if you can. Getting all of the treasures in Doraat right now is a pain because of constant encounters with Godwin Soldiers. If you’re having trouble, just come back later to pick up anything you’ve missed.

Start by going through a partially hidden door to the southeast. Follow the path east then veer south towards a chest sitting on top of a short staircase. After getting the QUAD TACTIC, go down and head northeast to the very end of the long path where you’ll find a chest with WINDOW SET 6. Now backtrack to where your allies are waiting.

Once you reach them, go through the northeastern door and follow the path straight through town. When you get to the green lawn, head north around the perimeter. Look in the northwestern corner for two chests that contain a PALE MOON CASQUE and PALE GATE PIECE. Return to the intersection and head south. Near the pool of water, look for a chest containing the CRANE WING TACTIC. Continue to the southeastern corner find a chest holding a FLAME RING. After getting the items, backtrack to the intersection and head east to the Fortress entrance. Watch a scene inside.

BOSS >> ALENIA, GODWIN SOLDIERS x 5
Rewards: Red Ribbon, ?Painting

Strategy: You should have some practice fighting Godwin Soldiers by now so use whatever method reduces their numbers quickly. If you wait too long to take them out, their combined damage could kill you. Alenia’s Twilight Rune causes several status effects. Counter these by casting Time of Awakening with the Hero’s Dawn Rune. To defeat her, use physical attacks or Fire spells since she is strong against all other forms of magic.

After defeating her, watch a scene then exit the room through the western door. Follow the hallway south and enter the door near the stairs. Grab GUARDIAN CHAIN from the chest inside then exit and return to the room where you fought Alenia. Head east now and look for a hidden door behind the stairs in the adjoining hallway. Inside this room, there are two chests containing a BLINKING RUNE PIECE and the TRIPLE HARMONY EPIC. Exit and go upstairs. Follow the hallway to another staircase. Descend and approach the back door to trigger a scene with Miakis.

DUEL >> MIAKIS

Strategy: Miakis does not have any particular pattern, so just listen to her carefully. Her comments are generally honest.

After beating her, watch a scene (if you have Jeane in your party, you’ll see an additional scene with Zerase). When it ends, you’ll be back at Headquarters.

HEADQUARTERS

* Recruits: Miakis

Upon your return, Miakis officially joins the Stars of Destiny. Leave the War Room and go upstairs to the Sealed Room to speak with Zerase. Once the scene ends, review the tablet behind her that lists all of the Stars you’ve recruited thus far. Go back downstairs to trigger a scene with Georg. When it ends, you should spend some time recruiting as certain characters will be lost once the Queen's Campaign begins.

THE BIG HOLE (OPTIONAL)

* Recruits: Levi, Bergen

Take Logg’s boat to the Eastern Wharf then head north to get to the Big Hole. Go west through the cave until you reach Levi. If you have spoken to him once before now, he will automatically join the Stars along with Bergen.

RAFTLEET (OPTIONAL)

* Recruits: Norma, Ernst, Gavaya

Put Levi in your party and go to Rafleet’s Inn. Enter the back guestroom for a scene with Norma. Assuming you spoke to her during the Sacred Games in Stormfist and visited her here once without Levi, she’ll agree to go with you back to Headquarters. Once there, Norma and Ernst will both join your cause.

Next, put Norma, Viki, and Faylen in your party and return to Raftleet. Speak with Gavaya on the dock near the save point. Now that you have a collection of pretty young girls in your entourage, Gavaya will eagerly join the Stars of Destiny.

SABLE (OPTIONAL)

* Recruits: Raven

Go to Sable and speak with Solis in the eastern room of his mansion. After learning that a thief has stolen his Family Tree, return to Headquarters and speak with Oboro. During the scene, choose to try and catch the thief. Once Shigure joins your party, speak with Egbert inside the Inn at Headquarters to receive a Family Tree Chart. Show it to Oboro. After reading Taylor’s “special edition” newspaper, rest at Headquarters’ Inn. Watch a scene introducing Crow (a.k.a. Raven) and tell him to “reflect upon his misdeeds”. Afterwards, go down the spiral path below the Inn and enter the 2nd door. Go inside the empty room next to Lelcar’s quarters and speak with Raven. Ask for his assistance and he will join your cause.

DORAAT (OPTIONAL)

* Recruits: MiFaSo (non-Star)

Put Cornelius in your party with one empty slot then look for the MiFaSo elf in the forests southeast of Doraat. The elf can also be found near a tree across the river directly west of Baska Mine; get there by trekking southeast from Doraat. Also, pick up any treasures you missed during the Doraat siege and visit all of the shops now that they are open.

HEADQUARTERS

When you’re ready to advance the story, enter the War Room. You’ll be asked to form three parties: One with Roy and Zerase, one with Kyle, and one with the Hero, Miakis, Sialeeds, and Lyon. Kyle probably has the hardest scenario of the three, so send your strongest characters with him. Roy and Zerase’s party will have the easiest scenario, with the Hero’s scenario falling somewhere in the middle. Confirm your selections when asked then watch the scenes that follow.

When you regain control, leave Lucretia’s room and speak to the folks gathered in the lobby. Save your game outside near the bridge before telling the Maid in front your room that you’re ready to sleep. Watch some scenes, after which the war begins.

THE QUEEN’S CAMPAIGN

WAR BATTLE >> NEW QUEEN’S CAMPAIGN
Rewards: (Victory+) 20,000 Potch, Spun Silver Armor
Battle Goal: Get Roy’s unit to Lymsleia’s position.
Defeat Conditions: Roy’s unit is destroyed.

Strategy: Roy’s unit will be the one playing the key role here. Once again, the goal is not to destroy all of the enemies, but to get Roy up to Lym and the Knights. This battle is lengthy compared to some of the previous ones and you’ll need to get your hands dirty this time. Have all but two units (Roy’s and a backup) head northwest and southwest to lure enemies away from the center path. Once the enemies charge your main forces, have Roy and his backup unit make a run up the middle towards the Queen. The battle ends once Roy gets within attack range of Zahhak and Alenia.

After watching a scene, you are thrust into three consecutive boss battles without the ability to save your game in between. The difficulty of each depends on which characters you chose when forming parties with Lucretia. Roy’s team is up first.

BOSS >> ALENIA, ELITE SOLDIERS x 5
Rewards: None

Strategy: Use Zerase’s Meteor Shower for the first few rounds to take down nearly all of the Soldiers. Alenia is more dangerous this time and will dodge/counter most every physical attack. She has also added Fire magic to her arsenal, which is not terribly damaging unless you have a lot of low-level characters in this party. Use strong magic spells against her, even though they will only do half damage and make sure to keep Zerase alive, since she’s the most effective against Alenia.

After defeating Alenia’s crew, watch a scene then the battle switches to Kyle’s party.

BOSS >> ZAHHAK, ELITE SOLDERS x 5
Rewards: None

Strategy: Zahhak will dodge and counter most physical attacks and takes reduced damage from magic, so you have the worst of both worlds to deal with. If your party members are quick, use physical attacks; otherwise stick to level 4 spells. Anything less powerful will barely dent Zahhak. As usual, work fast to slaughter all of the Soldiers so that the party takes less damage. Heal often or expect a few deaths.

After beating Zahhak, the scene changes to your Hero’s group.

BOSS >> GALLEON, ELITE SOLDERS x 5
Rewards: Rage Sword Orb

Strategy: Hopefully you had time to sharpen Miakis’ weapon and equip her with a Rune to improve her usefulness in this battle. Galleon is a tank that takes very little damage from either physical or magical attacks. Work on taking out his squad then just pummel Galleon with your strongest attacks. Heal often to avoid death. Expect this battle to last a while if your characters are under-leveled.

Watch the scenes that follow, ending back at Headquarters.

HEADQUARTERS

* Recruits: Galleon

When you regain control, approach your room on the 2nd floor to see a bittersweet scene with Galleon. Afterwards, go down to the Infirmary for another scene, during which Miakis takes over Lyon’s bodyguard duties. Make sure to sharpen Miakis’ weapon and equip her with better armor and runes since she’ll be accompanying you for a while.

Enter the Sealed Room on the 4th floor for a scene with Zerase. After Zweig and Lorelai join your party, go to the War Room to learn that Lucretia wants you to visit the Dragon Cavalry’s commander in Sauronix Castle. Exit the room to trigger a scene in the hallway then go down to the 1st floor to see that Luserina has returned to her usual spot. Fill in your remaining party slots then use the southern exit to get outside. Watch a scene on the eastern bridge, during which Galleon joins the Stars of Destiny.

At this point you'll notice that neither Viki or Logg will transport you anywhere. Simply exit to the World Map then return to Headquarters and ask Logg to take you to Port Spinacks.

PORT SPINACKS / HERSHVILLE NAVAL BASE

* Items: Pale Moon Boots, Thunder Helm, Rage Piece, Stone of Skill, Intermediate Magic, Blinking Rune Piece, Voice Set 2, Thunder Piece
Recruits: Hazuki, Cathari

Head north from the boat landing to find two chests that contain PALE MOON BOOTS and a THUNDER HELM then ascend the western stairs. On top, head south until you reach a save point. Speak to the man standing next to the save point to learn that you can access Hershville Naval Base from the port’s western exit. For now, head east past the Item and Rune vendors until you reach another save point. Talk to the man standing there to learn that the eastern exit leads to Sauronix Castle.

Before going there, head north to the very end of the path to find two chests containing a RAGE PIECE and STONE OF SKILL. Backtrack south then take the western stairs down to a ship where you’ll find an Armor shop. Ascend the stairs directly across from the ship and speak to the colorfully dressed swordswoman who is standing by the lamppost slightly south. Hazuki will ask if you know Belcoot (she will not be there if Belcoot is currently in your party). Tell her you know him then exit to the world map via the southeastern exit. Warp to Headquarters and put Belcoot in your party. Return to Port Spinacks and speak with Hazuki again to trigger a scene, during which she joins the Stars of Destiny (you’ll get additional dialogue if Marina is also in your party). After recruiting Hazuki, go back to your boat on the northwestern dock and ask the assistant to take you to Hershville Naval Base.

Upon reaching Hershville, you’ll find a Rune shop to the east and an Item shop to the west. Ascend the stairs north of the Item shop to find Magic and Combat Trainers as well as an Armor shop. Head east from the Armor shop to the base’s front gate. Speak to the woman wearing a yellow cape who mentions she’s looking for an old ‘acquaintance’. Leave her for now and head south back to the dock. Once there, climb the thin set of stairs in the center to get to the Administration building.

Open the chests in front to acquire INTERMEDIATE MAGIC and a BLINKING RUNE PIECE then enter the building. Talk to the Bureaucrat on the 1st floor then ascend the stairs on the left. Inside the 2nd room you’ll find a chest containing VOICE SET 2 and in the 3rd room, a chest with a THUNDER PIECE. Leave the Administration building and sail back to Port Spinacks.

Upon your return, head south then veer east towards the Rune vendor where you’ll bump into the yellow-caped woman again. During the scene, Cathari will ask that you to take her to Lucretia. Agree to her request, otherwise you will miss Cathari for good. Go back to Headquarters and enter the War Room for a scene, after which Cathari will join the Stars of Destiny.

When ready, return to Port Spinacks and take the southeastern exit out to the World Map. Follow the path south to reach Sauronix Castle.

SAURONIX CASTLE

* Items: Stone of Evasion, Sound Set 5, Old Book 12, Elementary Combat, DragonHorse Choker, Thunder Piece, Flowing Piece, White Rose Brooch
Recruits: Rania

Watch a scene then explore the grounds. From the castle’s main gate, head south two blocks then veer east to find a Trader at the crossroad. Head north towards a fountain where you’ll find an Item vendor. Continue north to a street and enter the first house on the right. Watch a scene introducing Rania, a bard, who plays an inaudible tune for you. Ask her what is supposed to happen then leave her workshop to trigger a scene outside. When it ends, re-enter Rania’s workshop and ask her to join your cause. Once she does, go outside.

Enter the house next door (on the right) to find two chests containing a STONE OF EVASION and SOUND SET 5 (Rania collects Sound Sets, btw). Exit and continue east around the corner where you’ll find another chest containing OLD BOOK 12. Head north then veer west onto the next street. Enter the house with the striped awning to find a chest holding ELEMENTARY COMBAT, an item that allows Trainers to teach level A combat skills. Back outside, continue west then veer south to get back to the main gate. Enter and move forward to a chest containing a DRAGONHORSE CHOKER. After getting the item, go inside the castle to trigger a scene.

When you regain control, exit Craig’s office and head east to find a chest containing a THUNDER PIECE. Rest at the Inn or visit the Trainers in the lobby if you like; otherwise, descend the stairs in the southeastern corner. At the bottom, head south to get back outside. On the eastern side of the walkway, there’s a Rune shop, Appraiser and save point. To the west, you’ll find Item and Armor shops, as well as a Blacksmith that can sharpen weapons to level 12. Head west past the shops until you bump into Rahal and Roog. Further west, you’ll find a chest containing a FLOWING PIECE. Backtrack east a bit and walk up the ramp facing north.

On top, head south then veer west along the edge of the wall near the turret. In the northwest corner of this area, look for a chest containing a WHITE ROSE BROOCH. Backtrack through the castle to get to the front of town. Once there, approach the eastern exit to trigger a scene. When it ends, leave Sauronix Castle and travel north to get back to Port Spinacks. Once there, take the western exit out to the World Map and head west. Enter the alcove in between the green cliffs to get inside the Deep Twilight Forest.

DEEP TWILIGHT FOREST / RUINS

* Items: Window Set 5, Pent Tactic, Old Book 6, Cyclone Piece, Mother Earth Piece, Cape of Destiny, Guardian Gloves, Fujiwara Gauntlets, Golden Hammer
Recruits: Killey, LaTiDo (non-star)

Watch a scene then save your game. In addition to constant enemy encounters, the forest is filled with twists and turns, making it a real pain to navigate through. Note that you can capture the LaTiDo elf while here if Cornelio is in your party. Start by going east through the trees until you reach a somewhat obvious crossroad. Head slightly south to find a chest containing WINDOW SET 5 then return to the crossroad and go northeast. Press against the eastern side of the path until you find yourself heading south. Follow the winding path up to a chest containing the PENT TACTIC then loop back around to the main path.

Once there, hug the western side of the forest until you find yourself traveling northwest. Open a chest at the end to acquire OLD BOOK 6 then head east to get back onto the main path. Continue forward until you can head north. At this point, the path zigzags quite a bit, but just keeping veering northward when you can, and you’ll eventually reach the next screen. After getting there, continue north along the winding path until a scene takes over in front of the ruins.

When you regain control, save your game then enter the ruins. Inside, head north to a chest containing a CYCLONE PIECE then take either path up to the next room. The enemies here are tougher than the ones in the forest so stay alert. Continue north through the next two screens then round the corners until you reach an intersection.

Follow the western path until you can go south. Open a chest at the next intersection to receive a MOTHER EARTH PIECE then head west. On the next screen, move forward to a chest containing a CAPE OF DESTINY then go east. At the next intersection, head north to trigger a scene. When it ends, open two chests in the room to acquire GUARDIAN GLOVES and FUJIWARA GAUNTLETS then go through the northern doorway.

Move forward and take either path around to the top of the room. Continue north to the next screen. Open the chest up ahead to get the GOLDEN HAMMER then head west. On the next screen, move forward to an intersection. Follow the eastern path to a save point. After using it, continue north until a scene takes over. If you completed the previous events with Killey (in Agate Prison and at Headquarters), he will arrive now. Allow him to tag along then enter the next part of the ruins to meet up with a boss.

BOSS >> ANCIENT CREEPER
Rewards: Pale Gate Piece, Silver White Robe, Cyclone Piece, ?Painting

Strategy: Unleash your best stuff right from the beginning. In addition to having high magical and physical defense, this boss uses area attacks that cause status ailments and 100+ damage to each party member. If his attack doesn’t kill you, the poison effect will, so heal often and use Time of Awakening to negate the other ailments. So long as you keep everyone’s HP above 200, you’ll be able to whittle down the Creeper without perishing.

After defeating the boss, move forward to see a scene in the next chamber, during which the Dawn Rune will receive added power. Afterwards, leave the ruins on foot or use an Escape Scroll to reach the entrance quickly. Once outside, ask Killey to join your cause and he will. Go back through the Deep Twilight Forest and exit to the World Map. Return to Headquarters.

HEADQUARTERS

Give the Golden Hammer you just found to Dongo so that he can sharpen weapons up to level 15. Next, check the Comment Box next to your room to see if Jeane left a message about going back to the ‘cave’ (e.g. the Big Hole ruins). If you don’t see her note there, keep checking the box until it appears. Afterwards, visit Lyon in the Infirmary and watch a few scenes. When you regain control, Miakis suggests visiting Lyon again. Before doing that, you should recruit a few new characters. Skip the optional sections below if you just want to move on with the story.

LUNAS (OPTIONAL)

* Recruits: Haswar, Isato, Urda

Put Takamu in your party and warp to Haud Village. Use the western exit to get to the North Woods. Follow the path up to Urda and allow her to escort you into Lunas (with an elf in your party, Takamu is no longer required, btw). Enter the Oracle’s Conclave and go inside the second room to trigger a scene with Haswar, who asks that you take her to Headquarters. Make room for Haswar and Isato in your party then go back through the North Woods. Watch a scene at the exit, wherein Haswar, Isato, and Urda join the Stars of Destiny. Return to Headquarters where the trio leaves the party.

THE BIG HOLE (OPTIONAL)

* Items: Dark Amulet, Pale Gate Piece, Voice Set 5, Stone of Magic, Windspun Ring, Resurrection Piece, Immortal Medicine 2, Blinking Rune Piece, Old Book 4, Fog Robe, Armes Armor, Prosperity Hat
Recruits: Eresh

If you found the note from Jeane in your Comment Box, put her in your party and sail to the Eastern Wharf. Head north from there to reach the Big Hole. Travel west through the cave until a scene takes over introducing Eresh. Note that Eresh and another character share the same Star of Destiny. If you decide to recruit Eresh during this journey, you will be unable to obtain her counterpart later in the game. If you want to recruit her, ask Eresh if there is “some way we can help.” Once she joins your party, enter the ruins to the north.

Wind through the rubble until you reach the main building on top (west, north, east, south, east, north). Once inside, continue north until you reach the chamber where you originally recruited Jeane. Watch a scene then enter the new opening on top of the stone slab. Use the save point and be prepared for an arduous journey through this new wing of the ruins.

Move forward until you get to an intersection at the bottom of the stairs. Head west into a room with a chest containing a DARK AMULET. Backtrack to the intersection and go south. Head west at the next intersection to reach a chest with a PALE GATE PIECE. Go back and continue south. At the next intersection, head south to a chest containing VOICE SET 5 then backtrack and head east to the very end of the path. Open a chest there to receive a STONE OF MAGIC. Now, backtrack to the western corner and examine the painted wall facing north to open a new path. Go inside.

Head north past the intersection to find a chest with a WINDSPUN RING then backtrack and go west. Follow the path until you can head north. Open a chest at the end to acquire a RESURRECTION PIECE then head south to the next intersection. Take the western path over to a chest containing IMMORTAL MEDICINE 2 the return to the intersection and go south. At the next intersection, continue south to reach a chest containing a BLINKING RUNE PIECE. Backtrack and take the eastern path to the end where you’ll find another painted wall. Press X while standing in front of the northern wall to reveal a new path. Pass through to the next area.

Move forward to an intersection and take the north fork to a chest containing OLD BOOK 4. From here, head south until you can veer north again. Open a chest at the end to obtain a FOG ROBE then follow the southern path to another intersection. Go west to find a chest containing ARMES ARMOR then backtrack and head south. At the next intersection, take the eastern path to a chest holding a PROSPERITY HAT then go back and take the northern fork. Press X while standing in front of the painted wall at the end to open a new pathway. Make sure to heal and save your game before moving forward. When ready, head north to engage a powerful foe.

BOSS >> SHEPCESSKA
Rewards: Sacred Oath Epic, Cyclone Piece, Mother Earth Piece

Strategy: Shepcesska uses Soaring Bolt for 900+ damage divided among all allies, so have someone healing every round. The spell, which he casts repeatedly, also stuns characters. If your healers become incapacitated, you may find it difficult to survive. Equipping Sacrificial Jizos will buy you some healing time and Eresh can resurrect fallen comrades, too. Do not use Silent Lake, since it will nullify all spells, including the helpful healing ones. Offensively, use your best magic and sheer brute force to eventually take down the boss.

After defeating Shepcesska, Eresh joins the Stars of Destiny. Leave the ruins on foot or use an Escape Scroll to get to the Big Hole entrance quickly. Return to Headquarters.

HEADQUARTERS

Upon your return, go down to the Infirmary to trigger a scene with Lun bringing news that something terrible has happened. After she joins your party, enter the War Room. After watching several scenes, Miakis suggests going back to Sauronix Castle. Tell her you’ll go with her. When you regain control, exit the room and Logg will join your party. Speak to Luserina downstairs to fill the remaining party slots then go down to the boat dock and sail to the Baska Mines.

BASKA MINES / DWARF CAMP / WATER VEIN

Enter the mineshaft and follow the paths up to the Dwarf Camp. Once you’ve reached it, watch a scene introducing Wabon. After Gunde joins your party, cross the eastern bridge and talk to Wabon near the blacksmith’s tent. Once he joins the party, you can use his Forge skill to upgrade weapons. When ready, examine the mine cart in the southeast corner to trigger a scene. When it ends, examine the cart again to automatically get inside the Water Vein.

Once there, 2 Assassins attack. Like previous Assassins you’ve faced, this pair uses Fire spells and a Shrike move to damage the party. You should have little trouble defeating them at this point in the game. After Logg, Lun, and Gunde leave, use a Blinking Rune Piece to fill in slots with stand-by characters or just head west with your current party until another scene occurs.

BOSS >> RAGING ASSASSIN
Rewards: Crazed Orb, Thunder Piece

Strategy: If your party members are speedy, you should be able to take this guy down quickly using normal physical attacks. If not, use magic spells or scrolls (Ice works better than Fire). If you are fighting with less than a full team, heal frequently to keep everyone alive.

Upon victory, watch a scene then approach the northern stairs to trigger another one. When it ends, enter the Deep Twilight Forest.

DEEP TWILIGHT FOREST / PORT SPINACKS / SAURONIX CASTLE

* Recruits: Wabon, Gunde, Roog, Rahal

After Wabon and Gunde join the Stars of Destiny, head northwest along the forest path until you get to the save point. Exit the forest. Back on the World Map, travel southeast to Port Spinacks. Walk across the long bridge and exit to the east to get back outside. Continue southeast to Sauronix Castle. Go inside for a short scene then head back through Port Spinacks to get to the Deep Twilight Forest. Upon re-entering, watch a scene with Roog and Rahal who automatically take you to the bottom level of Sauronix Castle.

After Roog and Rahal join your party, go up the ramp on the right then head east. Enter the castle using the door in between the Item and Rune shops. Once inside, ascend the long flight of stairs to get to the lobby. Approach Craig’s office in the northwest corner to trigger a scene, during which Rahal and Roog join the Stars of Destiny.

When you regain control, descend the southern stairs to get back to the lower part of town. Once there, head west. Descend the ramp at the end and approach the two dragons, Flail and Lance, to automatically pop out on the World Map. Go back through Port Spinacks and enter the Deep Twilight Forest. Head south from the save point until you reach the Water Vein entrance. Take the path back to the Dwarf Camp then head south through the Baska Mines to get to Logg’s boat. Sail back to Headquarters.

HEADQUARTERS

When you want to advance the story, enter the War Room where you’ll be given a choice of where to send your troops: Lelcar or Lordlake. Each scenario offers the same rewards and storyline, however Lordlake is a ground-only campaign whereas the battle in Lelcar takes place on both land and sea. Tell Lucretia you want to “think a bit” before deciding so that you can save your game. That way, if you’re having trouble getting through one scenario you can reload your game and choose the alternate battle. Both scenarios are explained below so just read whichever one applies.

WAR BATTLE >> LELCAR DEFENSE CAMPAIGN
Rewards: (Victory) 5,000 Potch
Battle Goal: Halve total enemy forces or survive for 10 minutes.
Defeat Conditions: Hero’s unit or the Dahak are destroyed, or the enemy reaches Lelcar.

Strategy: If the enemy reaches Lelcar, the game is over, so maintain a strong defensive stance close to town’s entrance. Keep your allies relatively close together, as the enemy will approach very quickly and you won’t be able to catch up with them if you’re too spread out. Reducing Godwin’s troops to about 1,200 will take a bit of work but you only need to survive for 10 minutes to achieve victory. Keep your ground troops away from the water since ships can attack them using Barrage or Rune magic. On the other hand, your ships can do the same, so try to push the enemy towards the water where your fleet can hit them. If you can take down the ships and half of the regular ground units, the battle will end without needing to engage the stronger enemy characters.

WAR BATTLE >> LORDLAKE DEFENSE CAMPAIGN
Rewards: (Victory) 5,000 potch
Battle Goal: Halve total enemy forces or survive for 10 minutes.
Defeat Conditions: Hero is killed, or the enemy reaches Lordlake.

Strategy: You are way outnumbered here and the enemy will advance very quickly. In order to stop them from reaching Lordlake, keep some units clustered close to the entrance while the remainder fan out slowly to the east. The enemy’s Archers have 2 Barrages each and can wipe out your entire army if you send everyone towards them at once or get stuck within their range. Try to lure them apart with Infantry units that can sustain multiple hits. To achieve the 10-minute goal, you’ll need a lot of Recover, Flowing or Cyclone spells to survive the assault. To secure the other goal, use Rune Archers and skills like Charge to minimize damage. When every enemy is clumped together, Zerase’s Star Rune will help considerably, as will the Hero’s Dawn Rune. Just tough it out and you should be able to survive what is perhaps one of the hardest war battles in the game.

After the brawl, you need to make an important decision. If you choose to stay and protect your castle, you will not be able to recruit all 108 Stars of Destiny (and therefore miss the ideal game ending). Therefore, the better choice is to flee your castle. Tell Lucretia you want to “go with her plan” then watch the scenes that follow, ending in the Dwarf Camp.

DWARF CAMP

When you regain control, exit Lucretia’s tent to see that most of the castle’s services have been reinstated here in the camp. Go over to the Item shop and talk to Luserina to form a party (and entourage) consisting of all males, since the female gender is not allowed inside Gordius. After doing so, use the mining cart in the southeastern corner to get to the Water Vein and pass through to the Deep Twilight Forest. Exit to the World Map and head east through Port Spinacks. Once you reach the other side, travel south along the river, past Sauronix Castle, until you get to Gordius.

GORDIUS / DRAGONHORSE LAIR

* Items: Old Book 13, Spun Silver Armor, Sound Set 2, Pale Moon Necklace, All-Out Strike Epic

After a short scene, enter the tent directly south of you to obtain OLD BOOK 13 from a chest. Exit and continue south past the save point to trigger a scene where you’ll meet Nick, Yoran, and Ax. After they join your party, head north and enter the tent with the red awning. Watch a few scenes then descend the southern stairs. Watch a scene at the bottom then cross the wooden planks in the upper corner to get inside the Lair.

Move forward to a save point. After using it, continue north to a crossroad. Take the western path into a cave with two chests that contain SPUN SILVER ARMOR and SOUND SET 2. Backtrack to the intersection and head east. At the next intersection, head east to find a chest containing a PALE MOON NECKLACE then follow the northwestern fork to into a cavern filled with water puddles. Go west across the puddles until you reach some steps. Climb up then veer east to a second set of steps. On top, watch a scene, during which the party ambushes 4 Assassins. Use whatever method has worked for you in the past to defeat them.

Watch the scene that follows where both an old foe and an old friend arrive. Afterwards, head north into the alcove. Open a chest to acquire the ALL-OUT STRIKE EPIC then exit Gordius. Head back through the Deep Twilight Forest and take the mining carts back to the Dwarf Camp.

DWARF CAMP / CERAS LAKE RUINS

* Items: Earth Ring
Recruits: Georg, Craig, Lance, Flail, Nick, Yoran, Ax

Speak with Lucretia in her tent above the Rune shop to trigger a scene. When Georg asks if you hate him, say, “I never felt that way,” to immediately recruit him. When you regain control, exit the Inn and go back to Lucretia’s tent. After Craig and Lance join the Stars of Destiny, Lucretia asks you to go to the Ruins with Zweig. Fill out your party then examine the mine cart to see that a new destination has been added. Select the Ceras Lake Ruins. Head east through the Water Vein and you’ll come upon a chest containing an EARTH RING. Continue east to the Ruins entrance.

Follow the eastern walkway up to the top then head north until you trigger a scene inside the sluice gate room. When it ends, return to the Dwarf Camp via the Water Vein route. Upon returning, save your game. Do this before entering Lucretia’s tent. After Flail, Nick, Yoran, and Ax join the Stars of Destiny, the war to reclaim your castle begins.

HEADQUARTERS

* Items: Shield Orb, Thunder Piece, Intermediate Combat

WAR BATTLE >> THE RECAPTURE
Rewards: (Victory+) 30,000 Potch, Fog Robe
Battle Goal: Halve total enemy forces.
Defeat Conditions: Hero’s unit or Raja’s unit are destroyed.

Strategy: This battle is easy compared to the last one. There are fewer enemy units and none have special skills. Your Dragon Cavalry can take out both ships quickly, freeing up your fleet to pick off land-based enemies with Barrage. If your ground units push the enemy north and your ships use Barrage from the banks, you can probably get through the battle with less than 100 casualties. Getting Childerich’s HP down to 1/3 ends the battle quickly as well.

Watch the scenes that follow, during which Lucretia asks which force you want to lead: the one going to Doraat or the one heading to Sable. Hold off on making a decision so that you can save your game. Also, check out some new areas now that Headquarters has expanded to its ultimate state.

If you go through the door north of Goesch’s farm, you’ll see that a new floor has been added. Moving counter-clockwise, you’ll find a cemetery and new offices for some of your recruits, as well as a Tavern and Jail. Enter the Tavern to trigger a scene with Logg regarding his connection in Hershville. The Dragon Cavalry is stationed south, at the end of the Detached Hallway next to Logg’s dock. Follow the pier beyond Logg to get to the front of Ceras Lake Ruins. Enter and head north until you reach the circular room you recently visited with Zweig. Walk down the spiral path to the very bottom where you’ll find 3 chests containing a SHIELD ORB, THUNDER PIECE, and INTERMEDIATE COMBAT.

When ready, return to the War Room and tell Lucretia which battle you want to lead. In my opinion, Doraat has an easier war battle but a tougher boss fight, whereas Sable has a brutal war with an easier boss.

OPTION #1: DORAAT

WAR BATTLE >> CHILDERICH PURSUIT
Rewards: (Victory+) 35,000 Potch, Windspun Cape
Battle Goal: Get the Hero to Doraat.
Defeat Conditions: The Hero or the Dahak are destroyed.

Strategy: Like the previous Doraat battle, you must fight this one on both land and water. Remember that the Dragon Cavalry and Beavers can go on both land and water so exploit this feature. Also remember that you can target land forces with Barrage and certain spells. That will help considerably. The goal is to get your Hero’s unit into Doraat, not to kill everyone. Be careful with Dilber’s squad as he is quite strong. Save the Dawn Rune until you get close to the gates to clear a path so that the Hero can make a run for it and end the battle.

Watch a scene, after which Lucretia asks you to choose party members (Roog and Lance are mandatory). After confirming your selection, go through the northeastern gate and head straight through Doraat until a scene takes over.

BOSS >> BAHRAM, IMPERIAL GUARDS x 5
Rewards: The Shredding S1, Resurrection Piece, Berserk Blow S1

Strategy: Bahram, like most bosses, comes with a backup squad. Pick off his cronies with Co-Ops or high-level rune spells, before Bahram starts healing them. Bahram uses Ice magic that hits everyone for 150-200 damage and will evade most physical attacks. Unless your party members are very fast, stick to magic. Defend using Earth spells and heal frequently to avoid death.

OPTION #2: SABLE

WAR BATTLE >> ARMES PURSUIT
Rewards: (Victory+) 45,000 Potch, Windspun Cape
Battle Goal: Get the Hero to Sable.
Defeat Conditions: The Hero is killed.

Strategy: This is a ground-only campaign, much like the previous one in Lelcar. Stagger your troops to the northeast and northwest to lure the enemy away from Sable’s entrance. Be careful of the enemy’s Archer units since they have 2 Barrages and a Rage spell. Try to pick off individual units one by one before sending the Hero into Sable. In particular, pay special attention to Jidan's Cavalry unit to the north.

Afterwards, watch a scene during which Lucretia asks you to form a party (Dinn is mandatory). After confirming your selection, save your game then head north through Sable until you reach the Armes Gate behind the Inn.

BOSS >> JIDAN, ARMES BODYGUARDS x 5
Rewards: Vengeful Child S1, Mother Earth Piece

Strategy: Jidan, like most bosses, comes with a backup squad. Pick off his cronies with Co-Ops or high-level rune spells then focus on Jidan. Though he counters most physical attacks, he is very slow, so you should be able to take him out quickly once his Bodyguards are out of the way.

Watch the scenes that follow, ending back at Headquarters.

HEADQUARTERS

When you regain control, go to the War Room for a scene. After Cius, Lelei, and Lucretia join your party, fill in the remaining slots by speaking with Luserina on the 1st floor. Before going to Yashuna Village, you’ll want to recruit a time-sensitive character (if you do not get him before liberating Stormfist, you never will). If recruiting appeals to you, travel to Hershville Naval Base without Logg in your party.

Note: If you regularly use Viki to warp you places, at some point she’ll sneeze during the teleporting process and you’ll end up in an unfamiliar place. If you end up in a forest, look for a chest containing a BLINKING RUNE PIECE to the west then head east to exit. Use the Blinking Mirror to get back to Headquarters and have Viki try again. This happens periodically throughout the game.

HERSHVILLE NAVAL BASE (OPTIONAL)

* Recruits: Haleth

Assuming you spoke to the Bureaucrat in the Administration building during your initial visit to Hershville and saw the scene with Logg in Headquarter's Tavern earlier, enter the warehouse two doors down from the Armor Shop on the northwest side of the base. Watch a scene inside involving the shady bureaucrat (Haleth) and Logg. Afterwards, leave the naval base.

Kill some time then return to Hershville and enter the Administration building. Speak to the man standing where Haleth used to be to learn that he’s fled the base. Rest at an Inn then enter the Tavern at Headquarters to find Haleth there. Ask him to join your cause and he will.

YASHUNA VILLAGE

* Recruits: Shula Valya, Nifsara, Sharmista

Head north and enter the Hot Springs Inn to trigger a scene. After Sharmista joins your party, go upstairs and approach the room on the right for another scene. When given the choice, accept Shula’s offer. Once Shula, Sharmista, and Nifsara join the Stars of Destiny, make room for the trio in your party and return to Headquarters.

HEADQUARTERS

If you recruited Josephine earlier, you’ll see a scene between she and Shula when you get back to the castle. Afterwards, enter the War Room where Lucretia suggests it’s time to invade Stormfist. As usual, tell her you are not quite ready so that you have time to save your game. Also, catch up on any recruiting you might have been putting off. Check the tablet in the Sealed Room to see how many people you have left to recruit. Of the108 Stars of Destiny, you should have at least 106 by now. Return to Lucretia when you’re ready to take on Stormfist.

STORMFIST

* Recruits: Shoon

WAR BATTLE >> STORMFIST SIEGE
Rewards: (Victory+) 60,000, Master’s Garb
Battle Goal: Get the Hero to Stormfist.
Defeat Conditions: Hero or the Dahak is destroyed.

Strategy: The goal is to get the Hero into Stormfist, but picking off the many enemies protecting it will be difficult without several Rune Archers or boats with Barrage. When you start approaching the enemies, a familiar face shows up to help. He adds 200 allies to your cause. Since he is right in the enemies’ path, have him pull away until you can get some backup units over to help him. Using Beavers and Dragon Cavalry in the water will help considerably. Fully exploit the Beavers’ Gnaw ability. On land, any Cavalry units will be a godsend since they are strong against Infantry. Once the Hero reaches the city, the Twilight Rune comes into play and the battle ends.

Watch a scene wherein Shoon joins the Stars of Destiny (if you recruited Eresh earlier, Shoon will be your final Star; if not, you still have one more to go). Afterwards, fill in your remaining party slots then head southwest through the trees to reach the Arena’s underground passageway.

Once there, head east until you get to the Basement. Move south to find a broken cell door that you can pass through then travel west to get to the Infirmary. Use the eastern door inside the Infirmary to reach the ring. Watch a scene then choose who will duel Childerich (if you have Richard, Belcoot, and/or Zegai in your party, you’ll see additional scenes). The Hero is the default.

DUEL >> CHILDERICH

Strategy: Childerich does nothing but grunt during this duel, so guard when he sounds crazed and attack when he sounds tired.

After the duel, you’ll be in the hallway outside of the Infirmary. Go up the first set of stairs to the northeast. On top, continue east until you reach the door leading to Godwin Castle.

GODWIN CASTLE

* Items: Immortal Medicine, Windspun Greaves, Royal Paradise Epic, Platinum Hammer, Blood Scale Mail, Old Book 3, Windspun Helm

Head north across the bridge until a scene takes over.

BOSS >> DILBER, IMPERIAL GUARDS x 4
Rewards: Killer Orb, Thunder Piece, Clay Guardian S1

Strategy: Do not use up all of your magic spells in this fight, since there will be others battles following this one. Instead, use lower level area spells on the Guards and Co-Ops on Dilber. He will parry most of the time so you’ll need to be fast in order to physically connect. Dilber uses an attack that hits a line of characters so heal frequently and use Earth Magic to help reduce the damage. Save your best spells for last to finish him off.

Watch the scene that follows then pass through the gate. Instead of entering the front door of the castle, head east and enter from the side. Take the southern hallway down to a chest containing IMMORTAL MEDICINE then head north past the intersection to find a chest containing WINDSPUN GREAVES. Go back to the intersection and head west. At the next intersection, go south and enter the shaded door on the right. Get the ROYAL PARADISE EPIC from a chest inside then exit the room.

Continue west down the hall until you reach a door facing west. Open the chest inside to receive the PLATINUM HAMMER then return to the hallway. Keep going west past the next intersection and exit the castle from the door at the end. Once outside, head northwest and look for a chest behind the column in the corner. Grab BLOOD SCALE MAIL from it then re-enter the castle.

Head east and enter the big room in the center of the 1st floor. Use the save point inside then exit through the northern door. Ascend the eastern staircase. On top, go south and enter the second room on the right where you will find a chest containing OLD BOOK 3. Exit and follow the 2nd floor hallway west. After rounding the corner, you’ll see Gizel’s room on the left. Before going inside, enter the room further north to find a chest containing a WINDSPUN HELM. Afterwards, approach Gizel’s door to trigger a scene with Sialeeds.

BOSS >> SIALEEDS
Rewards: Gale Orb

Strategy: Use nothing but physical attacks against Sialeeds until she uses the Twilight Rune. The Rune causes several status ailments including Sleep, so have the Hero immediately counter with his Dawn Rune to remove the negative effects. If your main healer falls asleep, have others pick up the slack while your tanks finish off Sialeeds.

Watch a scene then go downstairs to trigger another one. When it ends, take the eastern stairs back up to the 2nd floor and enter the first room on the right. Watch a scene with Zweig and Lorelai then go back downstairs. When all of the scenes end, you’ll be back at Headquarters.

HEADQUARTERS

When you regain control, go down to the 1st floor and give the Platinum Hammer you just found to Dongo, so that he can sharpen weapons to level 16. Kill some time then return to your room to trigger a scene showing what is currently happening in Rainwall. If you did not recruit Eresh earlier, it’s time to fetch your final Star of Destiny.

RAINWALL (OPTIONAL)

* Recruits: Euram

Have Viki teleport you to Rainwall then speak with Euram inside the Barows Mansion. Follow him upstairs, where he will then join your army. Again, Euram and Eresh share the same Star of Destiny, so you will not be able to recruit him if you already have Eresh. Return to Headquarters afterwards.

HEADQUARTERS

Enter the War Room once you have recruited all 108 characters. Watch a scene wherein Lucretia explains the plan to take back Sol-Falena. During the night, speak with everyone at headquarters to witness some sweet scenes. In particular, go to Sialeeds’ room for a scene with Kyle, the Infirmary for a scene with Lyon (and Galleon in the hallway outside), the southern jetty for a scene with Georg, and the Dragon Cavalry room for a scene with Craig and crew.

When you’re finished speaking with everyone, go back to your room and tell the Maid you wish to rest to trigger more scenes. In the morning, save your game then go up to the War Room. Once all of the scenes end, the final war to take back Sol-Falena begins.

SOL-FALENA

* Items: Sun Ring, Advanced Magic

WAR BATTLE >> SOL-FALENA SIEGE, PT. 1
Rewards: (Victory+) 80,000 Potch, Karaya Armband
Battle Goal: Get the Dahak into Sol-Falena.
Defeat Conditions: The Dahak is destroyed.

Strategy: This is mostly a ship battle with only a few ground forces. The Beavers and Dragon Cavalry are useful since they can go on both land and water. If you get the Dahak into Sol-Falena fast enough, you won’t need to deal with the ground forces at all. Have all of your ships clear a path for the Dahak then make a mad dash through the center. Use Zerase’s Star Rune near the end on the last enemies to help clear the way.

After the battle, watch a scene on board the Dahak then go downstairs and talk to Luserina to form a party. Exit the Dahak to trigger a scene with Logg who escorts the party into Sol-Falena where you’ll meet up with Sialeeds again.

BOSS >> SIALEEDS (2nd round)
Rewards: Magic Bracelet

Strategy: Once again, Sialeeds uses the Twilight Rune to cause status ailments so use Canopy Defense to protect the party or have the Hero use his Dawn Rune to negate the effects. Stick to physical attacks since her magic resistance is higher and she’ll go down in no time at all.

WAR BATTLE >> SOL-FALENA SIEGE, PT. 2
Rewards: (Victory+) 100,000 Potch, Fortune Piece
Battle Goal: Get the Hero to Sol-Falena.
Defeat Conditions: Hero is killed.

Strategy: Your ground troops will be the heavy hitters this time, with ships playing a minor role. Having two Ram units on the northern side of the bridge helps considerably, should you need to engage the ships at all, since there are three Archers there. Start moving your ground units in pairs up towards the entrance, saving your strongest units for Alenia and Zahhak. Once you reach them, have some troops distract them while the Hero runs into the city.

After the battle, speak with Luserina (who is standing to the south) to fill out your party then head north. Enter the Sun Palace to prompt a scene.

BOSS >> ZAHHAK, ALENIA
Rewards: Viper Orb, Lion Orb

Strategy: Both Alenia and Zahhak have high physical and magical defense, so you’ll have to work at taking them down. Alenia mostly uses Fire spells and both parry/counter often, so physical attacks are riskier than magical ones. Focus on taking out Alenia first since she’s the weaker of the two, but don’t use all of your best spells during this round since Alenia and Zahhak will come at you again in a more powerful form.

BOSS >> RAGING ZAHHAK, RAGING ALENIA
Rewards: Soaring Bolt S1, SilverWhite Emblem, Rage Piece

Strategy: Use the same strategy as above but note that both bosses have higher defense now, so the fight will last longer. Take down Alenia first since Zahhak only attacks once per round.

Watch the scene that follows then head north into the Audience Chamber to trigger another one.

DUEL >> GIZEL

Strategy: Gizel is not too difficult to predict. His boasts usually result in a Special though sometimes he’ll perform a normal attack. Just pay close attention to what he is saying and Gizel will fall in no time at all.

Watch a couple of scenes then exit the rune chamber to trigger another one. You’ll regain control in your old bedroom inside the Sun Palace. After saving your game, exit the bedroom and meet up with Lyon in the hallway. After she joins your party, head east and enter the Storage Room at the end of the hall. Inside, you'll find two chests containing a SUN RING and ADVANCED MAGIC. Afterwards, go downstairs to the Audience Chamber. Once there, you’ll learn that Godwin has fled to the Ashtwal Mountains. When the scene ends, speak to Luserina to fill in your party. Leave Sol-Faelna either by using the southeastern exit or by sailing Logg's boat (which is docked on the southern pier) back to Headquarters.

Before going to Lunas, wrap up all other business you have in the world. In particular, outfit Lyon, Zweig, and the Hero (plus 15 other characters) with the best gear and runes you can afford, sharpen their weapons to at least level 10, and apply any skill points accumulated. Also, if you intend to replay 'Suikoden V' at some point, remove any valuable runes and/or armor from non-essential characters and store them with Chuck. Note that Luserina will remain in Sol-Falena's Sun Palace... whereas Viki, et al, will remain at Headquarters.

If you are interested in visiting an optional location prior to going to Lunas, warp to Stormfist and exit to the World Map. Travel east across the river then veer north to reach the West Palace.

WEST PALACE (OPTIONAL)

* Items: Windspun Ring, Illusion Tactic, Zen Sword Epic, Windspun Cape, Advanced Combat

Pass under the archway beyond the save point, then head south. Open a chest on the lawn to receive a WINDSPUN RING then enter the central building to the north. Once inside, go south into the room at the bottom of the screen. Grab the ILLUSION TACTIC from a chest inside then exit the room and head west until you reach the Rune Room. Open a chest there to acquire the ZEN SWORD EPIC. Exit the Rune Room and head south, around to the back where you'll find another chest containing a WINDSPUN CAPE. Continue moving northeast around the building until you find a thin path jutting out from the water. Follow it down to a chest containing ADVANCED COMBAT then leave the West Palace. Travel to Lunas when ready.

LUNAS

Watch a scene upon entering then head east over the bridge. Enter the Oracle’s Conclave and use the western door to get back outside. Descend the southwestern stairs and follow the path to the Purification Room where Lym originally conducted her bathing ritual. Watch a scene inside wherein a new path is revealed. After Isato and Haswar leave the party, enter the cave. Follow the path into the Ashtwal Mountains.

ASHTWAL MOUNTAINS

* Items: Dragon Incense, Hunter Orb, Blinking Rune Piece, Mixed Herbs

Move east to trigger a scene then use the save point on the right. Afterwards, follow the eastern fork until you get to a 4-way intersection. Go south then veer east to the very end of the winding path where you’ll find a chest containing DRAGON INCENSE. From here, head west, turning north when you can. Open the chest at the end to acquire a HUNTER ORB then backtrack a bit and continue west until you can head northeast.

After crossing a thin ice bridge, travel east past an intersection until you reach a second one. Take the southern path down to a chest with a BLINKING RUNE PIECE. Use it to call forth a replacement if anyone in your party is having trouble surviving in this area. Now, head west past two intersections until you reach a third one. Follow the southwestern fork over to a chest containing MIXED HERBS then head north. Ignore the remaining intersections and continue north until you reach the entrance to the ruins. Watch a scene then go inside.

SINDAR RUINS

* Items: Sun Boots, Gray Hat, Royal Garb, Sun Armor, Sun Gloves, Fantasy Half Coat

After opening the passageways, Luserina arrives with Georg. Form 3 well-balanced parties: One going with the Hero, one going with Lyon, and one going with Zweig and Georg. After confirming your selections, each group enters their respective passageway. When you take control of the Hero, re-enter the central room to save your game. This is the last save point you will find and your final opportunity to complete other business in the world before wrapping everything up. When ready, set your formation and go through the eastern doorway. Move forward until you reach a barrier. Press O to switch to Lyon’s party.

With Lyon, set your formation and follow the western path until you reach a barrier. Press O to switch to Zweig’s party. Again, set your formation then move north along the path until you reach a floor tile that, when stepped on, lowers a barrier. Continue forward to a chest that contains SUN BOOTS then head east. Stop at the corner and press O until you are in control of Lyon’s party.

Move forward to have Lyon rise up then continue forward to a floor tile that lowers the barrier near the Hero. Before switching parties, continue north to ride back down then move forward until you reach a chest containing a GRAY HAT. Backtrack to the spot where you dropped down and head west until a barrier prevents you from going further. Switch to the Hero’s party.

Once in control of the Hero, move forward to rise up then continue forward to go back down. Head north and step on the floor tile at the end. Switch to Lyon’s party and move west onto a tile that rises. On top, go north and step on the floor tile in the corner. Go east to a tile that lowers Lyon and continue east to another barrier.

Switch to Zweig’s party and head east to rise up and continue east to drop back down. Move forward to an intersection. Take the southern path over to a floor tile. Step on it then open a chest to get ROYAL GARB. Return to the intersection and take the northern path to a tile that rises. Move forward to a tile that lowers Zweig. At the bottom, head north to a chest containing SUN ARMOR then go east to an intersection with a floor tile. Step on it then head north to a barrier. Switch to the Hero and go north. Rise up then head west along the upper path until you drop down. Head east and switch to Lyon’s party when you reach the barrier.

With Lyon, travel east. Rise up then go north. Follow the path to a tile that lowers Lyon. On the bottom, take the western path to a chest containing SUN GLOVES then backtrack onto the tile that rises. Have it lower again so that Lyon can travel north. Step on the floor tile at the end then switch to the Hero’s party.

Controlling the Hero, head east. Rise up and continue east to another floor tile. Step on it then head north. After descending, head east to reach a chest containing a FANTASY HALF COAT. Backtrack to the intersection and go north. Once you reach the barrier, switch to Lyon. Heal her party before moving forward to face a boss.

BOSS >> GIRTABLULU
Rewards: Immortal Medicine, Tachibana Greaves

Strategy: The boss has strong physical and magical defense, so denting him will be rough. Lightning spells work better than Fire or Ice, but just go all-out with whatever you have. Heal often, as the boss has one really nasty move that targets all party members for 125-200 apiece depending on the armor you have equipped. If everyone gets stunned, you may have trouble defeating Girtablulu.

Watch a brief scene then continue north. Once Lyon reaches the main room, you’ll automatically switch to Zweig’s party. Again, heal everyone before moving forward to face the next boss.

BOSS >> GUDALIM
Rewards: Immortal Medicine, Wind Ring

Strategy: Like the previous boss, this one uses an area attack that does 100-200 damage to all members, however he is fairly slow. Keep your party’s HP above 250 at all times and hit him with attacks/spells that cause the most damage. Lightning works best.

Head north until you automatically switch to the Hero’s party. Heal up and move forward to engage the third boss.

BOSS >> ENMESHARRA
Rewards: Immortal Medicine, Water Ring

Strategy: This boss uses Line-type attacks and has incredible physical defense. It also has very high speed, so expect it to attack before you. Try using the Earthquake spell to stun it for a round so that you can buy yourself time to heal. This battle will be slightly harder than the last two if you don’t have access to level 4 rune spells or a few tanks in the party.

Upon victory, head north to the room where Lyon, Zweig, and Georg are waiting. Watch a scene, during which you’ll be asked to form a single party using only the characters that have come this far with you (except Georg, sadly). Note that everyone has been fully healed, so you don’t have to worry about depleted spells, etc. Fill up all of the slots with your strongest characters, pick a formation, and move forward to trigger a scene. Choose whether the Hero or Lyon will face Dolph.

DUEL >> DOLPH

Strategy: Dolph is sometimes hard to predict, as he is rather nonchalant. Pay close attention to what he says and be careful. Losing results in the 'bad game ending'.

Assuming you beat Dolph, watch a scene then enter the door to face the final boss.

FINAL BOSS >> SUN RUNE INCARNATION, GUARDIAN HEAT SPRITE, GUARDIAN LIGHT SPRITE

Strategy: Each of the three targets has its own set of attacks and abilities, though they all have roughly the same defense. Cast Earth spells on the first round to protect the party then blast the Sun Rune Incarnation with your best stuff. Ignore the Sprites since the boss will just regenerate them. The Sun Rune Incarnation is fast and will attack multiple characters for upwards of 200 damage, so heal constantly. Any characters with low magic defense will be slaughtered, so having Sacrificial Jizos equipped will help as will Resurrection magic. With decent gear and stats, this will be a surprisingly easy battle, especially compared to the previous three.

Upon defeating the boss, kick back and watch the ending scenes. Depending on choices you made throughout the game, there are a few possible endings: Going with Georg is one scenario, going back home to help Lym is another, and the endings triggered if you recruited less than 60 Stars of Destiny versus all 108. Note: If you were rude to Lym at the beginning of the game, you will not be given the option to return to the castle; instead you’ll be forced to go on the journey with Georg.

Sit through the End Credits. At the end, save your completed game data. Doing so allows you to reload the file and replay 'Suikoden V' with whatever potch, items, and armor you kept in your inventory (or Storeroom) at the end of your first playthrough.

I used to think that I could survive with some relationship which related before meet. That was when I was about 15-17 years old with huge hormon to do something crazy. I enjoyed it 1st of month one. Now I'm starting to write something again. What's happening? I can't watch another season of American Idol! What a disaster. I hold anything with patience since they'd shut down that holy cable tv! I lost my happiness! [v], ANTM, American Idol, Jake Long, Blu! Ok, the first trigger was the latest season of American Idol has come and I can't enjoy it twice! When Kris Allen & Adam Lambert's season I didn't watch it because of the reason above! And the changement hasn't come, parents still err I don't know how to say this, orthodox or something. Sometimes, I wish I'm an American. They've many thing I love in this world and the most important thing is the tv shows and all glam in there. Last day in October was good. I attended light lecture in the morning
and the financial management lecturer didn't come again. Happy? Not so
happy too. We've skipped two times, that was not funny! But I didn't
wanna make a deal with it. We changed it with togetherness time. Had a
light and funny chit chat *giggle* then I was reading many interesting
books and I just realised that Ayu Utami's Bilangan Fu is a great
book! Okay I'm satisfied with it until now and still crave it as my
own.

For the first time in my life, I bought a book, knowledge ones, kind
of our guidence to be a teentrepreneur. It was amusing moment, then I
met Laras, my near friend in junior high. Then I had an ice cream then
went to some high school event called Anttic, presented by 3 senior
high but sadly I had to cancel it, because of my friend's sickness, I
skipped my favorite band, Maliq and d'Essential! Whatever. :-|

I just knew that I'll start my semester 3rd class on September 3rd. I'm not so happy. Got extension holiday means I will be doing nothing (not so nothing) but it's just too long. Boo Yaa! The brightside is I can do meet up. I really want to meet Arsya, Salvi, Indra, and Bebekwek Reyzan. Those are my twitfriends and I really curious to see their now look. I never met Bebekwek before, rest of 'em are my old friend :) BUT I MISS 'EM!! Saturday, July 25 2009 was a DAMN OUSTANDING DAY EVEUR! Started 06.30am I did my daily houseworking, it was usual, I musn't tell detail. Outstanding #1 Mum and Dad were mouth fighting about household, they've classic problem. I'm sick of that topics! Outstanding #2 I was attending Teater Total practice, met the coach and alumnis whose they talked about those juniors' play and their properties, make up, costum, ticketing, and others. I was there until 4.30pm. Outstanding #3 I was attend a reunion with my JHS pals. The event was held in Dapur Jambon, Kalimalang and we were happy there!! I'm so happy. But I didn't attend reunion with my elementary pals, maybe next time, I can! I finished at 9.00pm and then flew fastly to attend a meeting with DKMs of AnNuur mosque, Outstanding #4 was the damnest thing. First, my crew of RIMA weren't attend! Akbar said that they were refused to attend and I was angry there cuz they won't cooperate with RIMA to succeded our organization! I was disappoint and I MUST FIX THOSE ERRORS VERY IMMEDIATELY. After got home I drank much coffee and then arranged meeting agenda for Sunday morning. I pray for this . . . .

Though it is holiday, my babysitting day isn't over!
Today (07/06/09) my Mum went to her friend's house in Kebayoran. I thought this babysitting could be bored and ignorance like usually but I was wrong! In aftenoon, about 3.30pm, I did my duty to washed all dishes, swept the floor, etc. My older lil bro Billy & my Dad were refused indirectly to reduce those household business. So I mad to them and ofcourse to Cico whom I took care of. I felt guilty, after finished his dinner, his attitude was like an angel, he said that tonight Batman is on transtv and he asked me to watch it together. Sabtu sore bete banget. Gue memulai pembicaraan ringan dengan nyokap, gue ngeliatin gambar iPhone ke nyokap. Guess what? Nyokap gue cuma bilang, "jangan mimpi punya barang expensive" Brengsek! Pokoknya gue mau mau mau mau iPhone! ><

Malemnya gue nemenin nyokap ke Superindo, pas mau pulang, gue liat bapak-bapak lagi nawarin kangkung ke orang-orang. Langsung terbesit di pikiran gue, "pasti dia lagi butuh uang, makanya jualan sayur jam segini" dan nyokap gue pun berkata "kasian yah orang susah, jaman sekarang malah makin susah" Akhirnya, nafsu gue yang childish buat ngedapetin iPhone pun menurun. Kenapa tadi gue ga nyuruh nyokap beli semua dagangan tuh bapak yah? Dodol.

Rabu malam (08/04) remaja mesjid ngumpul ngomongin beberapa hal, salah satunya adalah bantuan untuk Situ Gintung. Moment yang pas, karena besoknya itu PEMILU jadi bisa naro kotak sumbangan di setiap pintu keluar TPS. Langsung minta izin sama pak RW buat naro kotak sumbangan. Hari ini (06/04) ga ada yang spesial buat gue. Semuanya plain aja. Berawal dari pagi hari, seperti biasa gue ngebabu sampe jam setengah 8, terus gue mandi dan berangkat ngampus. Yang agak beda hari ini gue jalan ke kampus. Lumayan juga, 30 menit lamanya. Gue udah ngeprint tugas, sampe di kelas, dosen komputer 2A cuma ngereview doang. Lunch break gue dipake buat nganterin Billy ke sekolah. Seperti biasa, karena gue males buat nganterin dia, jadi buat ngelampiasin kekesalan gue, gue tampol (ga kenceng sih) trus gue tempeleng kepalanya. Abis dari sekolah, gue balik ke kampus. Ada presentasi Ekonomi Pembangunan hari ini. Kelompok presentasi gue udah ga mampu bersinergi lagi, mereka semua cecunguk, pada ga ada yang masuk! Setan! Padahal kalo tadi bisa presentasi kan udah lega! Cooling down now. Cap cip cup bla bli blu, kelas pun selesai, gue dan temen-temen bareng-bareng ngeliatin badai petir berhamburan di luar jendela, habis itu foto-foto. Kelas Pengantar Ekonomi pun dimulai, dosen old skool itu mulai ngajar. Dan sadar kalo anak-anak pada titip absen dan katanya mau dikasih nilai E. Berarti gue terancam atau dipastikan ngulang dong? Badass! Dasar tua bangka! Dosen jadul & konservatif, walaupun anda benar juga, Pak! Nitip absen itu curang & nista. Idk! Hujan berhenti tepat dengan berhentinya kelas boring itu. Gue bergegas pulang karena mau makan pastel buatan Mami. Ternyata oh ternyata komplek gue buanjir o.o Idk, terobos maning! :D Ga ada yang spesial kan, hari ini?

Extreme Day

Today (02/04) is really really extreme day. Know why? Because I've stuck in campus almost 12 hours!
Start from 8 am I've start my first class, it's management class. Pointless I think! After that the computer & IT 2C class had come, I was late to attend that class cuz I used 30 mnts break time to browse in Internet Lounge. Don't know why, I feel in between interest and uninterest about that class. The lecture explain about HTML basic tag. Hmm that's bored if I didn't use that too.
Lunch break. Time to go home. It was a lovely fact that my campus near my house. So I can reduce transportation cost. Time runs fastly. 1 pm I went to the campus. But I had to go to someplace which I think it's not necessary to say the name of. The point is I bought some medicine. Then I got to campus at 2 pm. No Accounting lecture. So I just fill the absent form. *time's running out boringly*
Finally, 3.30 pm, time to get Computer Praticum with some Lab Assistan! I think the praticum goes bad! I didn't understand Visual Basic Editor on Excel! Whatever, that practise makes me sick!

5.30 pm - 7.30 pm Time to face Accounting Praticum Exam, I did my best. Wtf the Assistants accepted it and gave us an OK comments. Today is extreme exhausted for me. But I was lucky. I got free topup from Ibu :)

PEMILU udah tinggal menghitung hari. Tapi kenapa sampe sekarang gue belum bisa memutuskan siapa & apa yang harus gue pilih. Masalahnya semua parpol, caleg, & capres cuma omdo dan keseringan kampanye terbuka. Bukannya gue ga menghargai kerja keras mereka tapi mereka yang mau dipilih berlaku seolah-olah ga pantes buat jadi wakil rakyat. Udah malah iklan di tv udah kayak mau jualan. Parah ah! Gue ga tau mau milih siapa! Dan lagi kartu pemilih gue ga ada (apa emang gue ga terdaftar jadi pemilih?!) wtf, gue juga ga minat! Semoga aja semuanya bakal lebih baik di segala hal.

Reunion on Earthour day

Sabtu, 28 Maret 2009 adalah Earthour! Yap, memadamkan listrik selama satu jam untuk menyelamatkan bumi ini. Tapi bertepatan pula dengan pensi-pensian SMA gue gitu. Dari jauh-jauh hari gue udah merencanakan buat dateng ke sana, buat apa lagi kalo engga reunian? Cuma pada event itu aja para alumni dateng. Gue cuma pengen ketemu temen-temen gue doang, bukan buat nikmatin acaranya! Apanya yang nikmat kalo music performer nya band reggae semua? Gue kan penikmat musik Jazz hahaha taek! Jam 11 berangkat lah gue dari rumah, pertama-tama gue harus ke kampus dulu, ada pratikum matematika faking eshol gitu deh sampe jam 1.30, pas selesai pratikum, dengan terkaget2 gue menyaksikan hujan begitu lebatnya. Akhirnya, gue berangkat dari kampus ke sekolah gue (SMA 54) jam 3an, sampe di sana, gue bernostalgia & bersenang-senang dgn temana-teman sma gue! Horey yay yaya!

Jam 5 sore, selesai lah pensi bodoh itu. Karena gue ga mau pulang secepat itu, gue memutuskan untuk jadi benalu :P di mobil Wadi. Di sana ada Lude, Puyu, Dinda, Uthy, Ebeb. Kita memutuskan untuk pergi ke PIM! Walaupun duit pas-pasan tapi gue tetep pengen pergi. Gue titip lah motor gue di sekolah (dgn byran 5rb aja gt) dgn izin pak Subur, pak satpam baik budi itu. Di dalem mobil ya gtulah, pada SINGIT semua! Nyanyi2 tau2 mewek! O.o

Hari Kamis, hari nyepi. Komplek gue pun ikutan sepi, padahal minoritas yang Hindu. Tapi suasana pagi di rumah gue adalah kebalikan dari suasana komplek gue. Seperti biasa Nyokap gue nyuruh Bokap gue buat ngejual mobil bututnya, karena buat apa nyumpek-nyumpekin rumah & buang-buang uang buat maintenance nya! Dang! Gue kesel juga sih sama Bokap gue, pengen gue apain gitu. Argh gue gregetan!! Pap, itu mobil udah ga worth it, mending jual aja!!

Tuesday: Day Off #1

Today is another boring day. But some progress was happend. First, I found HTML tips from Google and I my HTML page has been made rightly, at least the basic HTML :P
In afternoon, Mum and I were bought Nasi Padang and ate it together! What a happy family hahaha :D If I get my salary next month, I'll buy Nasi Padang again! Yum yum MANTAP! :D
In afternoon 4 pm, I climbed my jambu tree, picked 3 or 4 sacks of plastic! Damn damn I'm exhausted! My legs' hurt, and many ants bites me! Wtf.

Bangun pagi jam 5 kurang, badan bau, pengen banget mandi. Abis mandi pekerjaan menumpuk! Pekerjaan gue di rumah setiap pagi adalah nyapu, ngepel, cuci piring! Ah gila, males bener. Kadang gue harus ngebut ngerjainnya karena takut telat kuliah. Tapi ini kan Sunday, jadi holiday and santay :D Gue ngejain lambat aja sambil nonton avatar. Pas gue udah kelar, disuruhlah gue manjat pohon jambu, buat ngambil jambu. Nyokap gue padahal ga ngidam :-/ manjat lah gue. Rehat 1.5 jam buat Naruto & Bleach. Dapet tugas lg ngegergajiin pohon belimbing sayur! Teruk! Dx

Last saturday (21/3), adalah waktunya bikin mading buat anak RIMA, kemaren sih kita janjian jam 3 sore tapi ga tau kenapa & ada apa kita malah ga ngumpul hahaha. Baru jam 5 ngumpulnya. Berkeliling lah gue dan adek terkecil gue, pas ngelewatin mesjid, gue ketemu Sarah sama Dinda, gue suruh aja dia ke rumah Suci. Akhirnya gue ke tempat Tahir terus gue anter dia ke rumah Suci. Karena gue harus nganterin nyokap, gue jadi telat ikutan bikin mading. Nyokap gue cuma mau ngambil bedak doang di tempat temennya. Pulangnya gue & nyokap gue yang tukang makan ini langsung melirik kue bantal kesukaan kita hahaha in this case we have same brain :D
Tapi pas udah dateng ke sana ternyata kue bantal wijen nya abis jadi kata abangnya, tunggu 5 menit ya bu. Yaudah deh ditungguin. Gue dgn ngilernya ngeliatin noh abang goreng kue bantal. Anjrot, laper! Yap, ringkesnya abang itu udah bokis! Ngemengnya 5 menit tapi dia meleset 45 menit! Gapapa lah demi kue bantal wijen sayang :D
At least, got home. Gue ngambil 2 pcs kue bantal wijen dan langsung ke mesjid. Bla bla bla bla intinya ga jadi bikin mading. Gue, Rafi, Tahir, Dinda, Bytta, Suci, Arfi ke rumah Della buat main kartu. Hahahaha. Pada malem itu ada arisan RT di rumahnya Rama (RT gue juga sih, tapi nyokap gue ga join:P). Bytta, Della, Suci, Arfi nyokapnya ikut arisan. Jadinya mereka pengen dateng buat numpang makan, karena gue selalu mau untung jadi gue minta sama mereke buat bawain kue. Jam 7.30 mlm Dika sama Adya dateng. Si Dinda freak bgt sama Adya, ga tau kenapa! O.o Akhirnya kita main kartu sambil ngakak! Hahaha. Jam 9an Moo dateng. Masa moo nyangka gue marah sama dia. Aduh aneh juga ya dia, gue ga tau kenapa. Ckckckck. Ada lg yg ajaib, pas gue & yg lain ngaterin sARah sama Dinda, lewat lah mobilnya Akbar tetangga beda serumah dr rumah gue. Nyokapnya nyapa basa basi, "hai, tik, lupa ya ke rumah?" ckckck Please TANTE! Emang gue harus ke rumah Akbar mulu, udah gitu pas itu kan Bytta & Della jalan paling dpn dan agak jauh. Ternyata nyokap Akbar nyapa mereka with geek sentence: "hayo, cewek, mau kemana malem2?" GOSH! It's disgusting! Ckckck wtf lah, semua orang cengo dngrnya o.o

Hari ini, menurut jadwal gue harusnya ada pratikum matematika ekonomi, jam 11.30. Berangkatlah gue dari rumah jam 11.10 dgn sangat terburu-buru, takut telat. Sesampainya gue di kampus ternyata lab sepi & temen-temen gue pada bilang, hari ini ga ada pratikum. Parah bener! Tapi gapapa gue jadi bisa keluar rumah walau sedang bokek surekek. Sambil ngobrol, gue, Alvan, Indra, Adit turun ke bawah. Gue sama Alvan niatnya pengen ke eLounge. Sampe di eLounge kita ketemu Wawan sama Angga. ---
setelah selesai internetan, kita (gue, Alvan, Angga, Wawan) duduk-duduk di lobi tempat anak-anak bisa ngumpul. Datanglah Dede, Rizky, Nano ke tempat kita duduk (eia ada Sendy sama Ronal juga). Obrolan masih ringan, dan gue mendendangkan lagu Don't tell by Avril Lavigne sama Miss You by Blink 182. Tiba-tiba entah ada setan apa yang nyamber datanglah topik pembicaraan tentang Sendy yang terlalu memuja cewek, semua orang yang di situ emang eneg sama tingkah Sendy yang terlalu lebai tapi bullshit dan batu. Dia ngerasa paling bener aja. Dan Dede emosi jiwa banget sama Sendy. Intinya ada dua kubu, kubu Dede adalah kubu lelaki yang menerima & ingin diterima apa adanya. Sedangkan Sendy, adalah yang ingin tampil wah tapi sebenernya tersiksa (it's about girl, in this case) dan gue ada dikubu Dede. Menurut gue Sendy itu gila! Hahahaha. Dan gue ngabisin 2,5 jam cuma buat debat gini doang. Ckckck. Tapi intinya kita jadi semakin akrab. Klimaks dari Feel Teenage Today adalah ketika Eta cewe yang mau dikenalin Ronal ke Nano muncul di depan mata! Haha. Nano's blushing! Sok imut abis! Sore ini gue (tumbenan) main bola sama adek terkecil gue, Cico. Pokoknya gue temenin dia main deh sepanjang sore ini. Soalnya temen-temen dia pada nakal. Kampungan abis. Sambil gue nemenin dia main, ternyata gue dapet pelajaran psikologi anak dari apa yang gue liat. Bisa disimpulkan bahwa anak-anak itu mempunyai cara sendiri untuk mengekspresikan diri mereka ketika lepas dari 'kekangan' orang tua mereka. Sebenarnya masih ada lagi, cuma gue agak bingung mendeskripsikannya sepeti apa. Jadi sekian dulu deh :-D

Kemarin (11/02) Gue observasi ke tempat gue ngajar, ternyata agak jauh dan akses jalannya rusak! Oh my god. Terus begitu sampe dibriefing lah gue beserta teman gue namanya Roni. Dia observasi di kelas V gue kelas III. Gue celingak celinguk aja di dalem kelas, karena emang belom masuk, masuknya jam 4 sore tapi gue stand by jam setengah 4. Ada beberapa anak yang udah mulai datang belakangan agak asing melihat gue tapi yah namanya juga anak2, paling ga dipikirin bgt kan?
Jam 4 pun tiba, tutor yang bernama Ardi datang (gue pikir Ardi itu gmn, ternyata biasa aja! Hahaha) Mulai lah dia mengajar. Kelas belum dimulai aja udah uncontrolled dan dia butuh 60 menit buat bikin mereka nurut! Gilo gilo yang kacau anak2nya apa tutornya?!
Setelah observasi selesai, ibu Tantri selaku Manager gue nanya2 gitu and the point I got is "I you love 'em they'll love you" Mulanya gue agak pesimis (Jadi gue itu bakal ngajar mereka, ngegantiin Ardi) Setelah ngobrol dan lain lain, akhirnya gue sanggupi lah mengajar mereka hari rabu depan. This is very first teaching elementary for me o.O gue harus bisa!! Materi minggu depan Days and Months. Oaargh harus atur strategi

Kemarin gue baca mading yang salah satu kertasnya bertuliskan Need Immediately, English teacher for elementary. Gue interest bgt tuh jadi tadi siang gue telpon lah contact person dari situ. Disuruh lah gue datang bawa CV. Oia, dengan anehnya ga tau kenapa, gue lepas aja tuh pengumuman dari mading kampus! Hahaha
Pas gue siap-siap di rumah, ada tragedi ternyata! Nyokap gue tangannya kesiram minyak panas (masak apa debus bu?) Karena gue anak baik jadi gue beresin dapur dulu, mengingat kalimat 'ridho ortu, ridho Alloh' jadi gue ikhlas2in aja. Akhirnya gue dateng, di-interview dan gue disuruh simulasi ngajar! Topiknya Fruits. Gue stay confidence aja dan ternyata dapat pujian juga hahaha. Besok gue observe tempat, karena gue ngajar ga di situ (gue interview di Centra Niaga, deket BCP, kalo mau tau :P)

Motor: Kemarin & Pagi ini

Kemarin karburator motor gue kemasukan air. Berhubung gue gagap permesinan (walaupun gue pemakai motor) jadi gue setengah panik! Untungnya motor gue mogok gak jauh dari kampus, jadi gue kunci stang dan gue tinggal aja tuh motor (I've named it! It name is KCE! Lol) Gue ngampus terus nyokap gue yang entah berantah ada dimana, sms gue dan bilang nanti sama papi benerinnya (FYI, gue ga megang uang sepeser pun!) Jam 5 gue keluar dari kampus, duduk sampe ketiduran di toko pulsa yang tempat parkirnya gue pake markir, untung banget sebelahan sama bengkel! Hahaha
Setelah melalui proses pengecekan, ternyata oh ternyata cuma kendorin baut and the water spit out from it! So simple and I'm an idiot! Akhirnya bokap gue cuma ngasi uang tip deh.
Di pagi hari (which means hari ini) sehabis ngedumel sama bokap, gue naik motor, behujan-hujan gerimis pake mantel kuning lucu punya Icha, dan karena gue bengong, tanpa sadar gue hampir nabrak tukang sayur tapi dengan lihainya gue menghindar! Hore! Tapi sepersekian detik kemudian gue bengong lagi dan hampir nabrak tukang becak! Yang kali ini tidak akan terhindari lagi! Akhirnya terjadi dilema, pilih nabrak becak apa lo banting stang dan mengorbankan badan lo? (saat itu pikiran gue kayak gt) Opsi 2 lah yang gue pilih! Sekarang cuma bisa ngilu, ada luka di siku & lutut :'( Biarin, daripada berurusan sama tukang becak. Hahaha

OH my, I've made a blog! Hahahahaha. Rain outside and I'm stuck in internet-cafe so I think it's interesting to make a blog *silly* But I'm gonna write on here everyday! I gotta g to college but my motorcycle is error because of the rain. Sudahlah biarkan saja....

Hari ini, hari pertama perkuliahan di semester 2. Alhadulillah dapet ruangan di lantai dasar semua jadi gue ga perlu capek-capek naik tangga atau ngantri lift dan mudah-mudahan gue dapat keberuntungan hari ini (berupa uang pastinya) Hahahaha MADUT!
